Requirements:Know how to write well in English. You care about grammar and things like tone and quality of what you write.Be considerably active on GDC. Do you constantly check the "Random News" thread and GD Chat to try and find news, often before it's posted on the homepage? Perfect.Just a tiny bit of computer knowledge (basic stuff like cropping an image, creating links)Don't apply if you don't think you can stay involved longer than just a few weeks (this happens more than we wish it did). How much time would it take?It's a volunteer position so we don't expect people to move around their lives for it. But checking in once every day or couple days to see if there's any news to write up would be ideal. Of course I understand circumstances come up when you can't be that active and that's totally understandable. All I ask is that you remain engaged with the team and don't just totally disappear for weeks. How do we keep in touch? Facebook chat/group, Skype, email. It'd be really good if you use all those. Facebook chat/group is good for the quick minor things, Skype is better when we have our meetings - much easier to share ideas and talk with each other over Skype. Why would I? THE GLORY! Maybe not, but mainly because 100,000+ people visit GDA each month and it's fun to keep them informed of stuff going on in the Green Day world. Not to mention, I hear Andres is kind of nice to people on the team (debatable). How do I apply? Pick any recent news topic (even better if it's something we haven't already posted on the site) and write it up like you would a news post. That's it. You have until March 5th to apply. Its just I dont get on GDC that much and I wouldnt have enough time to try and find things to write and to write it...I am a great writer and I love to write but its just I dont have the time!! You should hire a couple more in a couple months... like the start of summer or something!! Then I'll be able to do it!!!!

For example Billie Joe guest starring on Nurse Jackie? Or are we strictly required to write about something that has already occurred?

I mean, I love writing and I think I'm a good writer, but I have absolutely no experience using HTML whatsoever. Of course, I would learn if that's what it would take... or just lie about it like Andres did Edit: I will apply as soon as I get home tomorrow!

But still, I'm quite clumsy at computer things, I mostly write for myself and not for something "official" like a blog (apart from the GDC blog now), and you're probably looking for a native English speaker.
