Fuzz Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Episode 56 of our Green Day podcast, Static Noise, is now available. This week we talk about Green Day playing Summer Sonic 2012, rumors about them playing other festivals, and does that mean we're getting a new album soon? We also talk about Lookout Records closing down and our interview with Larry Livermore. Oh yeah, we ask a trivia question at the end of the show based off our new GDA zine. Email us the correct answer to win a free copy of the zine. pasalaska Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 the iTunes download is called 'A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words'. Inconsistent!
pasalaska Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 half way through and I haven't shouted angrily at my laptop over you guys getting something wrong. What is this, Static Noise?
ltrbmb17 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 OMG! Can't still stop laughing! With M1KEY it is always so much fun! What an awesome long crazy episode with only one Green Day news! "5 hours of the interview with Larry Livermore" really? "GreenDay song - BonJovi song - GreenDay song - BonJovi song" "Nice guys finish ..." You guys are AMAZING!!!
Karen. Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I always enjoy the podcast. For the album I want to hear live, I would always pick one with songs that are rarely performed live, so Insomniac or 39/Smooth, as long as they did 1000 Hours & Slappy with it! Everyone should come to SF! And you'll have to do another one this week to discuss "the Valentine's tweet", even though it's not much news and we heard from Iolanda, everyone is still super excited!
Fuzz Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Yeah we'll definitely do another one this weekend.
M1KEY Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 OMG! Can't still stop laughing! With M1KEY it is always so much fun! What an awesome long crazy episode with only one Green Day news! "GreenDay song - BonJovi song - GreenDay song - BonJovi song" HAHAHA!! I swear it's the truth. I remember going on school trips or whatever and I would always have my yellow Sony Sports Walkman with me, playing those songs. Then, after Insomniac came out, I made a mix tape that would have one song from each of the 4 albums (in order of the album) and then start again. So the track list would be something like 16, Christie Road, When I Come Around, Geek Stink Breath, Paper Lanterns, etc...... half way through and I haven't shouted angrily at my laptop over you guys getting something wrong. What is this, Static Noise? There was something in there especially for you... it might have gotten buried amongst other people talking, but I was hoping you would hear it...
Cym Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Haven't listened to it all the way through yet, but I just wanted to be a dick and bust you guys' chops for releasing the new episode and contemplating about the new album RIGHT before Billie tweets that they're in the studio I know, there's no way you could have known about that beforehand, but I like being mean to Andres lately
*withoutadoubt* Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Great podcast guys! I would absolutely LOVE to hear any of their albums 'unplugged'. I think Warning would be a great choice for that.
Ashley! Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I love Mikey. I'm so glad he was able to do another podcast.
