nope, it's not...as far as i know it's just a fan voting ...but maybe the olympic committee will see the list and see what artist/band the ppl are interested to see the most....so if Billie makes it to No 1, maybe he'll get the chance to really perform there

Certain people who voted in this need to be sledge-hammered. Personally I was a little bit hesitant to vote for Billie but I did, cause Green Day are a BOMB when they play live. But all these people who put Bieber, Gomez, Rihanna and other crappy singers in this list, well are they in their proper mind?! I mean, imagine the Olympic Games beginning, an all-serious event, and suddenly 13 koren boys, or Lady Gaga dressed as meat, or Adele who always sings about her broken heart or whatever, showing up and and playing. I know this is not a very serious thing anway, but STILL!

And Paul McCartney is in the 80th place (or somewhere there!)? He's english, he's a legend, and he'd be the most likely to play if this voting site was serious. It just makes me wonder how stupid poeple are

i don't know about other browsers but for firfox you go to Tools > options > privacy tab. About half way down it sas 'remove individual cookies'. Scroll down until you find 'the-top-tens.com, click on it then click 'remove cookie'.

Hope that works, and I guess it is similar on other browsers

I know that it's separate from the Olympics in terms of an "official" capacity. However, just look at GDA/GDC... are we quite similar in terms of our standing? We still do what we do, and people take notice. So there is a chance that more "official" people will take notice of this. Especially if it gets bombarded with votes from us, and fans of other artists alike
