The latest one from kelvin had this: ***UPDATE*** How could I forget! So Day 1, we got a message from Billie via Michael....pretty awesome. Yesterday we got an email from Billie telling us that (I'm going to paraphrase here) "[we're] going to be a smash. Not like a smash "hit". But like smash the heads of the audience." Cause the show rocks. How awesome is that? He may have also mentioned that he may be seeing us sooner than not. Okay, I don't believe in Santa Claus- So, all I want for Christmas is Billie Joe in my stocking. Do I have to be on the naughty or nice list for that?*** ***Oh, and I did order that take out.... ;-) *** So maybe the PS was to do with him seeing/visting them??

I don't follow the tour thread because I thought that (I just looked in there and was proven wrong) that it was just people being excited about being able to go see the musical, added tour dates to places I can't go, and lists of names of cast members I don't know. If it was posted in there, I, and many others, who do like to see this letter, would have missed it. The letter also doesn't seem to need any context, it's pretty clear standing on its own as well. In short, this letter applies to a bigger audience than the tour thread does.

Yeah, it should be posted in the tour thread too, but I don't see the harm in having a separate thread for this, since it's a relatively "big" thing that many people would miss otherwise. I mentioned in my post that I noticed that the thread was indeed full with things like that.

Most of the things in that thread are only interesting to those who are interested in the musical/musical tour so those are the only people who read it. This is interesting to all Green Day fans including those not interested in the musical, I am one so take it from me There used to be a lot more individual threads for things on here, instead of sticking everything in one thread so interesting things get buried away in them and loads of people miss them which tends to happen more now (in the Random News thread for example). It's good to see interesting tidbits like this highlighted in their own thread so more people can enjoy them.
