Alan86 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 From Wikipedia Warning is the sixth studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day. It was released on October 3, 2000 through Reprise Records. Building upon its predecessor, Nimrod (1997), the album eschewed the band's trademark punk rock sound and incorporated acoustic and pop rock elements... It had 4 singles Minority, Warning, Waiting & Macy's Day Parade Warning is often said to be Green Days most underrated album but it is loved by most Green Day fans. Personally I love this album for it's more experimental & acoustic feel. I don't think I could pick one favourite song from this album, but Jackass, Misery & Castaway are personal favourites of mine. I was a bit disappointed that this album was the only album to have no songs feature on AAF. I would have loved "waiting" from "wembley stadium" to have been on there. Overall I think it's one of Green Days coolest albums and think the least it deserved was a mention on its 11th birthday
WestboundSign! Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Happy Birthday goes out to this amazing album 11 years is a pretty long time, isn't it? Weird it's been that long ago..
ANJI Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I really love this album! Happy 11th Anniversary Warning!
LauraG Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Happy Birthday Warning! Such an amazing album. The perfect example why I like GD so much. They can change their sound and still be so damn good! I do believe it's an underrated album, not by GD fans exactly but by the music community and the press in general.
pasalaska Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 It is my least favourite studio album, but I still do love it and I wouldn't ever go without it, so happy birthday to Warning
Brigister Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Aaaaah such a great album! Full of unexpectedly good musical experimentations, different from everything they had ever done before and too bad it's only 12 songs xD Happy birthday Warning!
Undómiel Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Probably my second to least fave album, and yet it's still got some gems on it. I love it even though I can't like it as much as the others. Happy Birthday, Warning!
Elena Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Happy Birthday Warning !!! ....weird...it came out on the German Unification Day :
gdpony Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Happy birthday to the album that changed my life I discovered Green Day through Warning, so it's a very important album for me and definitely my favorite! I love every single track on this album, and I really don't get why people don't like it so much, cause in my opinion it's the album that made them who they are today
raven052 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I forgot that was today... Knew it was coming up. Right, off to put Warning on then! I really love Warning, though I often have to have the same argument again and again with a friend of mine who's a 'casual' Green Day fan. Favourite song off the album... Probably Warning, though there are far too many close 2nd's (Blood, sex and Booze, Minority, Castaway, Macy's Day Parade...) Happy Birthday Warning!
Disapperingirl Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Warning, happy birthday dear!! Thank you for giving birth to one of my favourite songs, Waiting, and for giving us the lyrics that became a big part of Green Day fans' motto: "I want to be the minority, I don't need your authority, down with the moral majority (...), a free for all, fuck'em all!" Poppy sound or not (NOT), it is a crucial Green Day album...better thank your lucky stars!!!
Cre Tool. Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Happy Birthday to Warning! Its one of my favorites! Its so cute! Epicccc. <333
Katarina. Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I love this album. Warning is probably my favorite Green Day album, after Nimrod. And sometimes Kerplunk, haha. It changes a lot. Just everything on this record is awesome, the lyrics are very well written, and I just like the whole "feel" of the album, if that makes any sense. Waiting is on it, which says enough.
Dylan. Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I'm not 100% sure on this, so feel free to fact-check me. But I don't think Macy's Day Parade was a single. I know they did a video for it, but I don't remember it being a single. Wikipedia has a page for every Green Day single. They do not have one for Macy's Day Parade. That isn't exactly evidence, but someone should look into that.

When I first got into Green Day this was my favourite album. And my favourite song was Minority ^^ Happy birthday, Warning
