Jet Taman Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I don't want to promote or "spam" but does anyone agree with me that the signature/autograph on the guitar is NOT Billie's? He definitely has a distinct style and even if it was a quick signing I don't think it would look like this. Just goes to show that anyone can put anything on ebay. I apologize if it's a member on GDC and if it's real, but in my honest opinion from someone who has several authentic signed things from Billie, I think it's fake....

Elena Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 to me it looks like a fake, i'm no expert, but it's really different from the original, i mean sure, billie always has a little bit a different signature (everyone always has a little bit a different one xD), but that isn't even his handwriting, i mean not even if he didn't write fast but very slow and neatly....not even the "AMERICAN IDIOT" part is his handwriting or does look like it ....moreover there stands Rillie Jo on it and not Billie Joe --> fake

When you look at Billie's actual signature, it looks a lot messier than that and it doesn't look like he tries writing all the letters of his name. This looks like too much care was put into it. And like other people have said...Who is this Rillie Jo?
