brianbags Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Well I remember reading a topic about favorite bass from Mike, so I figured Tre should have one too (I hope there isn't already one of these). Im interested in what people like from Tre the best because I play drums too. Though I'm not sure if people think like "that sounds cool" when it comes to drums like a normal person would with a bass line or guitar solo. But anyway, what are your favorite GD drum parts?
Emilie Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The part in JOS just before City of the Damned.
Katarina. Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 So many GD drum parts I love! The only ones that comes to mind now are the ending of Restless Heart Syndrome and just Before the Lobotomy in general.
InvaderPhantom Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The drum solo in Burnout.... This! The drum solo in Burnout kicks so much ass and it's the best part of the song The drum parts in American Idiot are great too and are probably one of the most recognizable drums in rock history. The drums right before City of the Damned sound amazing, too
Emilie Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Oh yeah, the drum part in AI during "do the propaganda" when everyone dances.
ScatteredPictures Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I love the drums in Sassafras Root
frankiessister Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Welcome To Paradise and Before the Lobotomy. Great drummer songs.
Amanda Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Dammit, I thought the title was "Favourite Tre pants" I think I'm gonna have to say Welcome to Paradise.
ANJI Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Favourite Tre parts? His balls! Yeh i like the drums in American Idiot
burnout409 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 My favorite Tre part would be Burnout, but i think Tre puts awesome drumming into every song, where in other bands they have a pretty standard beat through the the different parts of the songs (Verse, chorus, bridge, etc) Tre always makes it more interesting and different he is always varying what he's playing making it interesting to listen to.
Isabel Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 I really love the Lights Out intro. And 86
Nobody Likes Cam Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 The drumming in J.A.R and in Longview....they're awesome!!! I took this thread the wrong way when I first saw the title...
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Chump, Longview, Welcome, to Paradise, Basket Case 86, Armatage Shanks,Brain Stew, Wake Me Up When September Ends, and Rock 'n Roll Girlfriend. And the best is Burnout.

ScatteredPictures Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Dominated Love Slave since Tre didnt play the drums on that track this sounds like an insult to me
