I'm not a Taylor swift fan but it was ok.

I'd prefer if she kept to her own songs though . . . .

Day ruined.

It can't have been much of a day if this ruined it :acute:

I spent an hour in a gridlocked traffic jam in a supermarket carpark, gimme Taylor Swift over that any day.

Guest Charlotte.

I quite like it when an artist covers a song from a different genre to the one that they're known for, and this is great example of why. I don't see why it "should never have happened" at all. Her voice is lovely and, though it isn't the best cover of all time or whatever, I really enjoyed hearing this version of the song. The fact that the crowd were singing along to it was great to hear, too :)

I was worried I was about to see another Avril. I'm not a fan of Taylor, simply because I don't listen to that kind of music. But she did a nice job :)

It's not really good, but like some other people said, not as bad as i was expecting! I put in on GDA :shok:

I'm usually the first person to bash Taylor Swift, but that was really nice. It speaks volumes that a very different demographic group than most Green Day shows still drowns out the singer during the chorus. Also, at least this proves the girl respects some fantastic music.

so, taylor swift did a cover of green day's time of your life at her concert on sept 2nd. she even wrote the lyrics 'for what its worth, it was worth all the while' on her arm. thought i'd share :) (the second video is the whole song)

thanks for sharing that video. she's adorable.

I thought she made a very good job of it and it's a really nice cover. I'm not a major fan of hers but compared to most `popular` artists these days she has to be one of the best in my opinion :)

In the beginning, I like how she says we have some amazing bands from here, and some of the most amazing music from this part of the world! Great to have her mention this about the bay area bands.

I think she did a good job with the song. It was great to hear people singing along.

Except I'm very much annoyed that both videos say Time of Your Life and not Good Riddance (weird pet peeve of mine...)
