Hello, I'm in film school right now, and I'm in the mood to express my Green Day fanisim by making a music video for Two Songs off of the GD's "first" album. I know every Green Day song inside and out, I even studied the american/bush days just to further understand A.I. Whatever two songs are picked from, 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours (except Knowledge, awesome song and a staple in GD's live performance's, but not a Green Day original, sorry) I'm going to edit the ends of the tracks together to give the video almost a Brain Stew/Jaded feel (two songs, one music video basically. Although each songs visual style is different). So the two most popular songs mentioned in this topic from you, the fans, will be the two songs I'll choose. Also, if you have any ideas as to, scenes, character's or certain visual styles. Feel free to speak up. If I use your idea, I'll give you a credit in the video. I plan shooting in about a months time, so think deeply about this.

Thanks,

I'd suggest you Paper Lanterns and Dry Ice...sweet and powerful at the same time, and Dry Ice has an amazing guitar solo!

Or Going to Pasalacqua and Disappearing Boy, those would be my choices

i could say like an irony Dissapearing Boy and 1000 hours, or Green Day and Going To Palacqua, you know you put every green day fan into the thin line lol, its pretty difficult its like choosing from pizza or pizza :P

i'm moving this to GD chat since it doesn't really belong in movies/tv, and this way, you'll probably get more thread views :)

I would do The One I Want and 1000 hours. And the story could be that this guy really likes this girl, and then they start dating or something like that. Good luck :)

One thing I'm absolutely sure about:one of the two songs I'd choose is without any doubt Going To Pasalacqua

I'd do "Don't Leave Me" and then "Going to Pasalacqua." Give it a tortured, weird, school boy, borderline stalker theme "Don't leave me" that moves into acceptance and getting over it, and then she comes back "Going to Pasalacqua" and it's infatuation all over again, except the second time around he's older, smarter, cooler, and he recognizes his past mistakes and does it right and gets the girl.

The Judge's Daughter is my personal favourite from that album. Going to Pasalacqua would be up there too.

I think going to pasalacqua and green day would go nicely together :)
