If you could ask Green Day any question...

Might've been done before, but haven't seen it for a while. Post as many as you like for any band members or the band as a whole.

To get the ball rolling, I'd ask each of them:

What has been your most memorable Green Day moment to date?

(who knows, maybe we could put some of them to them one day!)

To Billie Joe: Was there a moment when you knew, deep down, that Green Day was going to work? Or was it just hope and perseverance in the early days?

To Mike: What's you're favourite thing on the menu at Rudi's? :P

Did you have any initial doubts when the subject of American Idiot on Broadway was broached?

And to Tre: WHAT POSSESSED YOU TO DYE YOUR HAIR BLONDE?!?!

To all of them: What really happened to the initial recording of Cigarettes and Valentines?

Hehehe... no, in all seriousness, I have about a thousand questions, none of which I would ever be able to articulate if I ever actually happened to meet them.

I have tons of questions too... but I'd like to ask them -inicially- what do they think about their music breaking all barriers of language. And, being masters of their craft, would they like to write a song in Spanish?... :shy:

I would ask them what's the glue that keeps them together, but that's already been answered:

SPERM.

Thank you, Tre.

Waaaah did you have to leave so soon? (Waah did you have to walk away?)

Nah I joke. I'd ask them: who made you, you? Cause I know I am 70% flesh and blood, 30% GREEN DAY.

to band: WHEN IS THE NEXT ALBUM COMING OUT?

Posted

I would ask them if there has ever been times where they were really stressed out and just wanted to call it quits.

Posted

I would ask Billie what he has found to be the most inspiring life experiences to write good songs.

Posted

I'd ask them for a map to the fountain of youth.

Posted

I would ask them if they had any tips for getting over writer's block. I assume musicians have to deal with that about as much as writers do. *shrug*

Well, I know I would ask Billie to give me guitar lessons. That would mean the WORLD to me.

As for Mike: Ask to go to Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe with him:)

Annd Tre: I would ask him how to do all that insane stuff he does! I mean, how does he do it?!?

I'd like to ask them if they're aware and if it bothers them much that Billie always says "you know"?

What do they do just before a show?

Is there any particular place in the world where they know that the crowd's going to be awesome? (Or well just a place that they prefer performing?)

Where did this idea for the drunk bunny come from? Who's in the suit? hehe

Mike runs around the venue a couple times.

1/3 of your question is now answered.

I'd really like to know what they think Gilman-era Green Day would think of current Green Day (both the band members themselves and their music).

That'd be fascinating. I need a TARDIS, goddamit... but then that might cause some sort of catastrophic space/time event that causes parts of the universe to collapse inwardly on itself...

yes, because that's ALL that Mike does before a show

Anyone who's watched BIAB knows that much.

Who the fuck is Tre Cool? But I'd ask it in a serious way like they do on the news.

oooo Aska's is a good one.

I'd ask what they'd do if they were legit king for a day. King of the U.S. that is.

To Billie Joe: What does the crossed heart mena that St. Jimmy draws on his chest in Homecoming?

How many guitars do you own?

To Tre: How many drumsticks do you usually need during one concert?

To Mike: How many basses do you have?

To Band: How is it to be one of the biggest bands in the world and have so many loyal fans?

I have many, but these are the ones that come too my mind right now XD

If I remember correctly, this question has already been asked in some TV or radio interview back in 2009. They answered Gilman-era Green Day would most probably like the new Green Day.

Who would you rather fight, Chuck Norris or a dinosaur / bear?

If you could have written one song by any artist, what would it be?

Do you ever get frustrated by all the teenies at your shows, and who waste their lives endlessly commenting on the internet with their infatuation with you guys (mainly Billie) and professing their love for you? (You guys know the type I mean)

What is your favourite country to visit / play in?

To Billie : How did you handle your stepdad being an ass? How did you get enough courage to walk out and to end up being sucessful? How did y'know when it was time to say fuck you (well not literally) and leave?

To Mike: How was it like to finally meet you real mother ( if he has) and how he made such good friends.

To Tre: How do you seem to remain optimistic all the time and to show us the "bullwinkle."
