Laurina Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Lovely little article, with a few images, on Emily's Army record release party http://piedmont.patch.com/articles/piedmonts-punk-rockers-pack-downtown-club
Zelda Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Emily's Army's link to the chart-topping punk veterans is apparent in their sound and is made official in the credits of their new album–Green Day frontman Billy Joe Armstrong is listed as the producer. Billie Joe wanted the album left raw, according to the sound engineer on the project, Chris Dugan. I will never understand how they can manage to spell his name both wrong and right in the same article.
Trina Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Sticky Little Fingers uuhhh. seriously?? haha, just came in here to say this. wow.
Hermione Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That was a good read! "Don't do too much to the record. Let them sound like s*** if they're going to." I like those instructions
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That was quite a nice article. Also I like how they didn't profile them as "Billie Joe Armstrong's son's band", which seems to happen in a lot of other articles.
pasalaska Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 YAY an article about EA that isn't all about Billie
xjernpqvrnbfv Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Nice article! But the Sticky Little Fingers made me laugh And I bet they were kidding with saying they listen to N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys haha.
Kristen M Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 That was really nice to read they're going places in the future, that's for sure
Hermione Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 And I bet they were kidding with saying they listen to N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys haha. I like how they just threw them in there in the middle of the list
