Underbelly Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 So I posted what "thank you" meant when I told that to Billie Joe last night, and I loved reading Stjimmy31295's post. I think a lot of us feel this way .What are you thankful to the band for? Thank you Trey for making me laugh so hard things come out my nose. And being the most kick-ass drummer ever. Thank you Mike for giving me a new appreciation for the bassline in songs and making me really listen and feel it behind my ribs, pounding the beat through my whole body. Thank you Jason for the amazing guitar riffs. You hang in the background but really carry the show sometimes. Thank you Jason on horn. My saxophone-playing daughter wants to be you. Thank you to the zillion people behind the scenes who make it all happen.
captain peroxide Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 This is really cool and all, and I'm sure everyone here feels the same way and agrees with you, but you might want to check out the forum a bit more to see how things work. We don't usually let people post threads about anything they want, although there are exceptions sometimes. If you want to express your gratitude to the guys, you could start a writing thread in Words I Might Have Ate, or whatever you like really, but you can't just post random threads, I'm afraid. Feel free to send me a PM if you need any help or advice
