I was at BFD in the Bay Area today and Emily's Army was performing. I was trying to video tape their last song and I kept getting bumped. I turned around and saw that there was a mosh pit that was formed. In the back of my mind, I was thinking that "someone" had to start that (that "someone" that I was thinking about was Billie Joe) and I thought, "naw, he wouldn't be in the audience!" Then all of a sudden a water bottle was being sprayed on everybody so I had to look again...and there he was. The very proud papa was leading the mosh pit!

Desensitized09 Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Lol I'm surprised that a guy his size can handle the pit. I mean, it wasn't a very brutal pit, but he's just so energetic, I love it haha. It shouldn't surprise me at all considering he's Billie Joe and he grew up in the mosh pits, but it just made me laugh to watch this video and suddenly see him disappear. I thought that he would be lost in the abyss of moshing lol! Very cute video. It was not only cool to see the band jamming, but it was also really cool to see Billie just jamming out instead of being onstage.

I thought he may head out to give his support to Emilys Army and watch Joey but to be in a Mosh pit that's just classic, makes me partially wish i coulda been there instead on vacation in Hawaii. What I wouldn't give to mosh with Billie Joe.

We're so used to see him on stage, that we forget that he's part of the audience in some shows too. And even with his height, he's able to command thousands and thousands of people when he's performing, so of course that he could start a mosh pit
