Probably the two concerts I went to and then being able to see the musical in NYC!

cool! haha, his voice went on high pitch when he said: "Happy Birthday who?"

Mike touching his heart and pointing at me at Chula Vista. There are no words.

The best memory I have is my very first rock concert... of Green Day. I'd never forget that day

And I also have a few others, not related to "see them", but still beautiful memories.

Posted

The two concerts I've been to, meeting Billie Joe back in September, and meeting Tre this past Sunday.

Another memory, Foxboro Hot Tubs at Don Hills last year!

Posted

The Detroit show in August, meeting Billie and Adie at the GDC party on the 26th of February, and the phenomenal performance of the AI Musical.

Mike winking at me during a concert.

Finally getting a chance to meet and talking with Billie Joe. Made all the more special by the fact that we weren't rushed, and were able to actually chat for a while. I never made a big deal about trying to meet them, knowing that the right moment would present itself, and I couldn't have asked for it to be any better.

Singing to When I come Around on the radio when I was 2.

Seeing them live...words cannot describe the feeling when your favorite people on earth are TEN FUCKING FEET IN FRONT OF YOU. :runaround: With the exception of Tre, who was a lot farther away, but still. One of the best memories ever.

Lucky, the day they came to Fresno I had to be in Atascadero for a party cause my cousin had another baby. On the ride home I cried.

Posted

Mike saying he slept with me and all he got was a ride home and a warm cooked breakfast.. that's one memory.

Posted

Traveling to Costa Rica for my first concert ever. Last show of the tour almost 4 hours of Green Day

Words cannot describe how amazing those hours were and how much this band means to me.

Discovering Green Day... Pretty much changed my life

- Also first concert and making my Parents take me to New York so I could see St.Billie (We were holidaying in Cali at the time anyways). And after the show I was at the barricade and when Billie Joe came out I was screaming, "BILLIE I CAME ALL THE WAY FROM AUSTRALIA!!!!" but he was sick so he went into the car leaving me feel like an idiot  I'm not complaining, the poor man was sick what was I going to do? My reaction just makes me laugh when I think about it... who knew I had such a crazy fan girl inside of me!

When I was four, listening to IS with my Dad in the car, my only memories of when I was 4

I don't think I've ever been closer to my Dad than when we're listening to music together.

So...until I meet them or go to a show, that is my fondest memory involving GD.

seeing them in concert in 09, crying tears of joy when they came running out on stage

Posted

my first green day concert and getting onstage with them and getting a kiss from billie joe and to finish it off the legendary third encore after good riddance of going to pasalaqua

then going to see the american idiot musical all the way back in berkely. Simply beautiful

then going to see them last year for the "homecoming" show

I have many more memories involving green day but these ones will always be my favorite and the closest ones to my heart.

Mike saying he slept with me and all he got was a ride home and a warm cooked breakfast.. that's one memory.

 How did that come about may i ask?

Posted

I can't even put into words how much this means to me, then, now and forever.

(It's not my video btw )

Seeing them live in august, followed by seeing american idiot in december! :)

Meeting Billie and Tre and they knew who I was. Getting an immediate hug from each of them. And Tre asking for a pic with me. :D

But also, there are soo many other times. Starting this website and meeting so many GD fans and creating so many memories with them. So my GD memories expand from just the band members personally. It's the fans too. :)
