emikaf Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I saw the post on least favorite Green Day songs so now I'm curious about least favorite songs from other bands. For me, I seem to always skip Ruby Room and Red Tide off of Foxboro Hot Tubs' album.
Of Rage and Love Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I think that that Foxboro/ side projects songs should be discussed in that thread too.
Satan Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 ^ yeah, i agree. although i always skip red tide, dark side of the night and hungry hungry models
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I've never understood the point of "least favorite" threads. Why spend time telling people what songs you dislike the most when you could spend that time discussing how much you love a song? Where's the optimism? I mean "least favorite" threads kind of just turn into a bunch of pages of people complaining. I guess it just seems a bit more logical to me to discuss the songs you like on a fan forum opposed to the ones you dislike, but hey, that's just my opinion. Also, I'm proud to say that there isn't one Green Day, Foxboro Hot Tubs, Network, Frustrators or Pinhead Gunpowder song that I don't absolutely love.

Vaso.Of.Suburbia Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I don't like anything from the Network. Does it count?
fadi_7 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I don't like anything from the Network. Does it count? same, except roshambo
Hermione Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 You don't like Spike or Supermodel Robots or Right Hand A Rama? Really? That's just silly
Zelda Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 X-Ray Hamburger is pretty much the only one that I can't stand.
Tubbie Head Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 From the Network album, I skip a whole lot of songs, just so I get to my favourites: Spike, Money Money 2020, Supermodel Robots, Roshambo, Reto, Teenagers From Mars... And I think that's it, I don't really like the other songs. From the Tubbies there is not a song I don't love... I rarely listen to PHGP, I don't even know the names of the songs by hearing them AND I simply don't listen to the Frustrators... I don't have their songs
pasalaska Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Dark Side Of Night is probably the only side project song I really am not that keen on. I love all stuff by The Network, PHGP and the Frustrators. I skip Tuort sometimes, but that's a bit different and they wouldn't even play it live. goshhh
sara_gd Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I don't really like Dark side of night, and I don't listen to The Network very often but I do like most of their songs (except X-Ray Hamburguer, I'm not too keen on that one).
horrorkiss Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I always wind up skipping ruby room, red tide, and dark side of night from Foxboro.
Spider Tre Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Foxboro: Red Tide, She's A Saint Not A Celebrity Network: all except Roshambo, Right Hand-A-Rama, Teenagers From Mars, Spastic Society, Spike, and Supermodel Robots
armatage Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 i don't think there really is a song i don't like, there are only songs at the times that don't go with my mood or feelings.
Ellenkc Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I skip Red Tide because I can't take it seriously anymore. My friends and I have made waaayyy too many period jokes for that one! With The Network I'm not big on X-Ray Hamburger or Love and Money. I like everything PHGP and The Fristrators have put out. I skip Tuort sometimes, but that's a bit different and they wouldn't even play it live. goshhh Did ye ask them to play tuort?
Florence Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I usually skip Tuort. it's just weird. and the Pirate Song.

Red Tide always makes me think of periods too and yes, we held up signs requesting Tuort and Jason just laughed at us. I usually skip Tuort. it's just weird. and the Pirate Song. Pirate Song I love pirate song. Tuort is better when it's not played backwards

I don't think there's anything wrong with discussing songs I don't like, it doesn't make me love the band any less. It just means that there are some songs I prefer over others. And I think it's really interesting to listen to the contrasting opinions on the forum and understand why people might really dislike a song I particularly love. I don't see any harm in it. I skip Red Tide because I can't take it seriously anymore. My friends and I have made waaayyy too many period jokes for that one! With The Network I'm not big on X-Ray Hamburger or Love and Money. I like everything PHGP and The Fristrators have put out. I love Red Tide, it's my sexy song I don't really like The Frustrators at all
pasalaska Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I don't really like The Frustrators at all not surprising, really. They're probably the least GD-sounding side project there is.
Isabel Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 not surprising, really. They're probably the least GD-sounding side project there is. The Network sounds nothing like Green Day I did try to get into the Frustrators, but it just wasn't really happening.

Isabel Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 but the Network has a distinctive lead singer's voice... Ah yeah but the sound is completely different
