mahalihooishavingaGreenDay Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 GDC isn't really advertised so how did you find out about it? i was searching itunes for Green Day podcasts and static noise popped up, i gave it a listen and really liked it but what was this GDC they kept mentioning. 'I must find it!' i thought then i found you guys. The End i am genuinely interested and sorry if this has been done before. shoot me i searched EDIT: if you found out through GDA how did you find GDA?

Four. Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I kept seeing there was a forum through the news on the GDA but couldn't find it so I gave up. (Yes, I know. There was a link.) Then I searched "Green Day forum" on Google and it appeared.

She was convinced that about a zillion people were going to camp. We got there at 6.20am and there was about 10 people at our gate. She ditched the forum after that.... I kept going.

I kept going. i went to that concert! but didn't get there nearly as early as you did next time i'm arriving early i only have one friend who would actually get there that early though

Eventually I noticed that like half the videos said they came from "GDC". So I found GDC and joined so I could watch more Green Day videos.

I found GDC had loads of audio and video sadly not from the show I wanted though I stuck around anyway cause it's the best place the get Green Day news. Much better than greenday.com and the idiotclub

Hermione Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 See, I knew about GDA for months and months but still didn't find out about GDC from there. Maybe there wasn't a link to it/it wasn't advertised? I suppose I just went on there to check the news and didn't notice anything about a forum.

A girl from my school a few years older than me had also gone to that show and had gotten on stage to play bass, she told me I should go on the forum to read about the show and see pictures, so I joined up. Wasn't properly active though until before the Perth show in '09. I'd known about GDA before but I didn't know about GDC.

lizziebix Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I was looking for pictures from the Chicago '09 concert. Found GDA and everyone kept talking about GDC in the comments so I joined to look at the pictures and videos. Then found the concert threads and was totally hooked.
