james.england121 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I'm quite sure this hasn't already been posted, but to everyone who has purchased Awesome as Fuck in last week, How addicted have you been? Have you listened to ANYthing else? Have you already listened too much!? Here's my iTunes play count: 21st Century Breakdown - 20 Know Your Enemy - 20 East Jesus Nowhere - 16 Holiday - 17 Viva La Gloria - 14 Ciggurettes and Valentines - 17 Burnout - 16 Going to Pasaquala - 14 JAR - 12 Who Wrote Holden Caufield? - 13 Geek Stink Breath - 12 When I Come Around - 11 She - 13 21 Guns - 12 American Idiot - 10 Wake Me Up When September Ends - 10 Good Riddance - 10 Letterbomb - 12 Christie Road - 11 Paper Lanterns/2000 Light Years Away - 12 Obviously the first songs always get more play counts, and usually there is an interruption.
Punx89 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I do not count but I ve heard those songs a lot the last 2 days.
james.england121 Posted March 24, 2011 Author Posted March 24, 2011 I do not count but I ve heard those songs a lot the last 2 days. iTunes?
Katarina. Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Does this really matter? And actually I prefer to play Awesome as Fuck on my CD player, so I can't count (and I don't care) how many times I've played it. AAF is fucking awesome, that's all that matters.
Zero. Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Yeah, I agree, I don't think it really matters... but don't think this is thread worthy either, it should probably be posted here... http://www.greendaycommunity.org/Forum/index.php?showtopic=81665
reckless Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 The one I'm most addicted to is on the DVD, The Static Age is fucking RAD! Anyway, I agree with the above statements.
fashionvictim86 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Not really worthy of a thread for just play counts. You can talk about this in the AAF thread.
captain peroxide Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 You can talk about this in the AAF thread. But I wouldn't recommend it. How many times you've listened to a song or album isn't really that interesting, to be brutally honest.
fashionvictim86 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 But I wouldn't recommend it. How many times you've listened to a song or album isn't really that interesting, to be brutally honest. Yeah, I know. But I was just looking for an alternative instead of posting threads that aren't interesting too.
Fuzz Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Who cares if it's not interesting, the thread will die on it's own if other members agree. I have exactly 1 listen to each song. still haven't picked my copy up, and only listened once to the full thing I downloaded illegally. Once I can go pick it up I'll have a few more listens
Rebel07 Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I've listened to the album front to back probably 4 times.. and watched the DVD twice.
beejeezee Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 21 Guns - 50 times WMUWSE - 3 iViva La Gloria! - 2 American Idiot - 1 Yeah not much
ifmemoryserves Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Who cares if it's not interesting, the thread will die on it's own if other members agree. No, people will continue to post here despite the fact that it's a dumb thread, as you can see.
The Platypus! Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I haven't got it on iTunes yet but watched the DVD about 5-6 times front to back. On my first time of listening to the CD amazing .
greendaytone Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I watched the DVD first, all the way through. Only time so far, i'll probably wait to watch it again until it's with someone who hasn't seen it. The audio CD i've listened to 2 or 3 times while showering (tmi). Once it makes it on to my ipod, it'll be part of the punk rock shuffle!
Satan Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 you people are such good fans, ive listened to VLG 4 times. it's my most listened song
Monica. Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I got it today... DVD-3 times CD-like over 5 times....
Laura! Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 DVD - 1 time CD - I lost track how many times. 21 Guns, Christie Road, Who Wrote Holden Caulfield and American Idiot are tied as my most played track.
