Juliette Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Oooooh cool. Yeah I agree it should come to the UK Quote
carasway Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Before we even had it confirmed that it was going on tour in the US i had this freaky dream that they did a documentary style program of selecting cast from all over the UK - the idea being that you didnt need to have heaps of experiance - it was more like an Idol or So You Think You Can Dance style audition process... It would be awesome if something like that happened to really give AI a cult following as it played around the country. I know the guys forked out a heap to get AI to Broadway in the first place - but it would be great if they could back this... I'd be first in line to get it up and running in Australia! Quote
Lindsay Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'm hopefully going to be flying down to Toronto to see it. GDC New Year's party anyone?! Quote
lizziebix Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 One of these days they'll mention Chicago or Milwaukee and I will be really really happy. Quote
Satan Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 soooooooooooooo exited that it's coming to toronto, and during winter break too this is gonna be an awesome new years Quote
Jaymee!! Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 So who the hell is joining Carling, Alex and I (for sure) for New Year's in TDot? BECAUSE IF YOU'RE NOT Quote
Laura! Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I can't wait til they come to Detroit!! Me too! There should be a Detroit area GDC meet up for one of the shows! Quote
Jaymee!! Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Ooh ooh also, my theater friend said that he couldn't make a show in Toronto, so he said that we could go see it in LA when it gets there That's gonna be so exciting if I can afford it! Quote
Nele Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I'd love if they'd come to Europe as well, that would be just fair. Quote
Boston Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I can't believe they're only at each place for about six days. Usually shows stay for two weeks at the very least. Quote
plaid ducky Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 Hmmm... A week stay is what I've seen in the past from national tours, with exception of larger cities. Quote
bass boy Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 im definetly going to the TO show. Chances are ill be at the meetup. Quote
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I can't wait for Toronto, oh my god. The show is there in my winter break too, and I live about an hour from the venue so everything will work out (hopefully). This is going to be my first ever Green Day event if I go and I'm really really really excited. All I need now is my mom's permission, which I'll ask for slightly nearer to the actual time. Quote
gdpony Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Please let this go to Miami! That's the only place I know I'll be able to afford! Quote
Spider Tre Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 they better come to Cincinnati (or at least Louisville or Dayton) just because the band skipped Ohio, doesn't mean the musical can too Quote
CzechIdiot Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 I doubt they will come to czech republic, but I hope for Germany Quote
