Alright so Record Store Day is April 16 this year and I was looking to see what's already been announced and.. Green Day/Hüsker Dü – “Don’t Want To Know If You Are Lonely”: Split 7″ (6500 copies on Orange Vinyl *WITH ONLY 100 COPIES ON CLEAR VINYL*) pretty fucking awesome. Obviously it hasn't been confirmed by the band or anything, but the sources seem pretty legit. I guess Warner announced it. cool. a few sources... uno dos tres

I know they've done that version with the two songs combined many times. They did do "true" versions of Surrender during some of the shows to promote the release of 21CBD, like at The Uptown in Oakland on April 15, 2009. Perhaps they could do a split with a live version from one of those shows with Cheap Trick's live version from "At Budokan". That would be awesome.

I went into the record store in my town which was participating in it, and they said something about them messing up something and that they were going to have it in about two weeks time. I don't know if that was just for his store though, he didn't word it very well but he was basically putting the blame on whoever is releasing the vinyl.
