Katarina. Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 They have 'covered' the whole American Idiot record. I have it in my iTunes, and listen to it sometimes (to sing along). It's nice Homecoming is my favorite, it's great.

Yussef Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 seems that they are green day fans They've covered many other bands. I really enjoy listening to them.
-Billiejoezee- Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 FINALLY a thread about them. I listen to them EVERYDAY. Not only because I like them, but because I use them for MY string playing. Since it's really hard finding sheet music for viola or violin, I listen to their versions and learn it by ear.
JullyToledo Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 awesomeeeee if anyone could ripped it to us......I'll be welcome
in_your_face Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 i'm speechless. they're sooo talented! AI and BOBD are so very good.
green day is Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I've seen quite a few of these. They're pretty awesome.
SixtiesJunkiie Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Very cool. I like classical and love GD, so this was very interesting! BOBD was very well done especially. And St Jimmy was fun. :-D
LouLou Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I remember when these came out, they are very very good! I love them!
Burnout98 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I've heard their stuff before, they're fantastic! But nothing beats pure Green Day!
Desensitized09 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I think these are great! I love their covers. They're always so soothing.
Jessayy Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Thank you for reminding me of these. They are amazing.
†...HAUSHINKA...† Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I've downloaded the entire album like 2/3 yers ago and it's awesome!
drum 21GUNS Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I LOVE VSQ!, esp. their AI album. I own some other groups them have covered, like No Doubt and the Beatles, but GD was the best. They also did covers of a few other GD songs that were scattered on other albums, but you can just by the GD tracks on itunes or amazon. They also did piano versions of 3 songs and a Christmas GD album(basically instrumental songs with bells shaking in background). If anybody wants to check them out further, their website is My link I don't work for them or anything, just like their music a lot.
drum 21GUNS Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I thought it might me helpful to some if I listed the covers/tributes to GD like Vitamin String Quartet(VSQ) that I have found. I'm sure I'm missing a lot, but do have a pretty good collection. I'll let you know my opinions on some, but you should listen to the previews on itunes or amazon.com to decide for yourself. Strings: Vitamin String Quartet Performs Green Day's American Idiot - fav of all VSQ, but all great "When I Come Around" off the album Alternative Hits of the 80's and 90's Vol. 2 by VSQ - track 6 "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" off the album See Ya: The Graduation String Quartet Collection by VSQ - track 1 "Know Your Enemy" off the album Strung Out, Vol. 11: VSQ Tribute to Modern Rock Hits - track 1 really cool "Working Class Hero" off the album Strung Out, Vol. 5: The String Quartet Tribute to 2007's Best Songs - track 3 String Tribute To Green Day by String Tribute Players - not as good as VSQ, sounds like midi keyboard added to string (Tracks 1-BoBD, 2-Good Riddance, 3-When I Come Around, 4-AI, 5-WMUWSE, 6-Basket Case, 7-I Fought the Law, 8-The Saints Are Coming, 9-Brain Stew, 10-Holiday) Piano: "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" off the album Vitamin Piano Series: Tribute To Rock Hits Vol.1 - track 9 really good Green Day Piano Tribute EP by Piano Tribute Players - good (Tracks 1-Boulevard of Broken Dreams, 2-When I Come Around, 3-Good Riddance) Acoustic Guitar: A Tribute To Green Day by Acoustic Hits - I wish I knew who sang these. No credit given. I love her voice. (Tracks 1-BoBD, 2-21 Guns, 3-Good Riddance, 4-Holiday, 5-AI, 6-WMUWSE, 7-Know Your Enemy, 8-When I Come Around, 9-Basket Case, 10-Brain Stew, 11-Welcome to Paradise, 12-Longview) Others: The Green Days of Christmas: The Holiday Tribute to Green Day by CMH Band - ok, but basically instrumental GD with Christmas bells in background (Tracks 1-Good Riddance, 2-BoBD, 3-Holiday, 4-WtP, 5-WICA, 6-Brain Stew, 7-Jesus of Suburbia, 8-Warning, 9-She, 10-Walking Contradiction) A Tribute to Green Day by Déjà Vu - actual covers that aren't that bad, some good. singer sounds like he accent like the 2 guys blond brothers on Family Guy haha (Tracks 1- 21 Guns, 2-AI, 3-WMUWSE, 4-BoBD, 5-Holiday, 6-Jesus of Suburbia, 7-Basket Case, 8-WICA, 9- Warning, 10- Good Riddance) A Salute To Green Day by Various Artists - 44 tracks in this collection(almost half are just instrumental/karaoke versions) worth the money I think($10) some bad singing, but it includes some of the other albums under different names like "A Punk Tribute to GD" and "A Tribute to GD's American Idiot" Lullaby Renditions of Green Day by Rockabye Baby! - These are cool. If I had a kid, I couldn't wait to put my kid to sleep to some Green Day! They have a bunch of other groups too like Aerosmith, Queen, etc. (Tracks 1- Basket Case, 2-Longview, 3-AI, 4-BoBD, 5-Welcome to Paradise, 6-When I Come Around, 7- Warning, 8-Sweet Children, 9-Good Riddance, 10-Walking Contradiction) Just 21 Guns:(My fav song, in case my profile name didn't give it away) "21 Guns" from Green Day Bluegrass Volume 2: The Bluegrass Tribute by Pickin' On Series - I hate country music but LOVE 21 Guns so I had to buy this one song. Actually pretty good, but haven't bought whole album yet or Vol. 1 "21 Guns" from Saxophone Hits Of Today! by Saxophone Hit Players - it's just sax on top of the Salute to Green Day singalong version, but it's still nice cause I've never heard GD on sax b4 "21 Guns" from Lacking Supervision by The UVM Top Cats - it's a college a cappella group, they're not bad If anyone if still reading, thanks. If anyone knows of any good covers out there, can u post them? Especially of 21 Guns! -drum21GUNS(Joseph)
