lizziebix Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Will definitely get up early to watch. Don't normally, but this will make it worth the lack of sleep.
Vrock09 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 FUCK YES!! LOTS OF FOOD + AI CAST = I wonder what song will be played? ... It would have been cool if Macys Day Parade was in AI, lol it wouldnt fit in the story bof course, but cool for this even.

Eeefaa. Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 "Today's the Macy's Day Parade..." I wish I lived in New York
Velocity Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 THIS IS AWESOME Hmm...technically, I guess I could go, but the Thanksgiving Day Parade is always crazy and mad crowded. So this time I'll pull my ass out of bed at 9 for once and watch it on my couch.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 As already mentioned in the Musical thread and partly here... Oh the irony. anyways, I don't really care. Unless it's filmed. Then I'm mildly interested. But I have no idea what the hell it is (well, I know it's a parade for Thanksgiving sponsored/organized/whatever by Macy's, obviously, but that's where my knowledge ends). Can't say I'm jumping up and down with excitement, haha.
Mari91 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 cool! i've always wanted to go to the parade but i dont wanna wake up that early. will definitely watch though!
LouLou Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Well, this will be my first year to watch the Macys day parade lol
addictedjamie Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 This sounds awesome, but for my English brain, could someone please tell me what this parade actually is? I don't know anything about it, and I've only ever heard of it in passing
mallorymaloney Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 This sounds awesome, but for my English brain, could someone please tell me what this parade actually is? I don't know anything about it, and I've only ever heard of it in passing It's a Thanksgiving parade held in New York that is one of the biggest and the second longest running in the world. It's also a seriously 'important' American tradition to watch it on TV/go and attend the parade, which clocks in at three hours, and it's presented by Macy's, an kinda mid-high-end American department store. Even though it's an annoyingly consumerist and overly 'FUCK YEAH AMERICAAAA' sort of event, I gotta admit I've always loved it and I always try to catch at least some of it each year ... But to the dismay of my family, who all hate it and find it exceedingly corny.

Wow, that actually sounds pretty cool, I have to see it sometime I wish we did something like that in England, but if we did it'd probably be shit so I'm almost glad we don't Thanks for informing me
Kayfabe Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 American Idiot in Macy's Day Parade. My Green Day-o-meter just broke.
