BillieJoeObsesser Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 i remember from the Lollapalooza concert i went to i was right on the barricades and at first Mike looked at me and loved my big blue guitar glasses and gave me a wink. then Billie kept lookin and smiling at me quite alot during the beginning and when they were playing Paper Lanterns and during East Jesus Nowhere he was lookin at me and then i blew him a kiss and he touched his cheek(like in my avatar). i also was thinking after the show that Mike and Billie might have been laughing at how silly i looked. im not sure if Tre saw me because where i was it was so hard to see him since the stage was so damn high up. but it still was the best feeling ever. not awkward at all. HitmonSal Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 At the Manchester show this year I walked round during Joan Jett cos I have arthritis in my leg and it was aching cos I was sat down for ages and as I was just walking round where the seats were... and I looked over backstage and saw Mike was gonna come out so I shouted "Mike" and he looked over at me and smiled then waved at me, so i waved freaking out at him and he beamed at me I also got waved at by Tré but he saw me and my mate from the distance in our seats but it was still cool that he looked at us screaming and waving and waved those were such an amazing feelings to have and it wasnt awkward at all I'll admit if I was walking round and I saw Billie I'd just burst out crying and just miss the oppitunity to wave or wave and cry and have him think im a weirdo XD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

XD LOL LOL LOLLOL What were you wearing?!?!Its not relaly awkward, but at the end of the wembley gig.. when they guys were walking of.. i was in a huge bunch of tears after when it's time and Gr... I got Billies eye and pointed at me tears.... And he shot me a really warm smile, as if to say thakyou or, just wow.. It was a really surreal moment with all the fire works and everything! It was the first time I saw them and near the start of teh show so I was still having that kinda "OMFGTHEY'RERIGHTINFRONTOFME" feeling. Beej looked me in the eye and I just froze completely and he just stared at me for about 5 seconds then walked off Was pretty intense haha. I was lucky as i gto a few eye contact moments.. but i mostly looked away becasue it was unreal, i'd been wating four years to see them live.. and when i did.. i was close enough to look the guys rright it the eye.. its was just like woah! It wasn't just quick eye contact, i could see him trying to decide whether or not he should pull me up to sing Longview @ Lollapalooza...I think my heart stopped in that moment. It was awkward, but only cause I wasn't sure if he was looking at me. That same night Mike winked at me cause I was all like "MIKE FUCKING DIRNT" during the impromptu breakdown during Modern World. Guest Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 it's never been awkward making eye contact with them during a show because i'm actually into it and singing a long, plus it's cool that they actually know i exist at that moment in time but at the alpharetta show whenever afi was playing some song id never heard before davey literally stared at my friend and i on the barrier for like thirty seconds and it was SO awkward because neither of us knew any of the words at all and we were just standing there...
