Awkward eye contact with the band

I went to the Mountain View show and had amazing seats right in the front. Some time in the middle of the show i look over at Tre and he's looking my way. after a few seconds of eye contact we both look away really awkwardly. it was the weirdest thing of my life, anyone else?

I know it sounds weird when i say awkward. but you know when you and some stranger make eye contact for a few seconds and then you both look away quickly. And after you think "what the fuck just happened?"....that's what it was like. but I didn't expect that to happen with Tre because he's not really a stranger.....thats why it was weird and after i was thinking to myself "wtf just happened?" as well. y'know?

.....(this is my last edit).....

during that show when billie asked for requests everyone was screaming songs. I decided for Christie Road. I was screaming it over and over again. Billie didn't see me but all of sudden Mike points at me like "yes! YES!!!" but then billie had already started coming clean or something...... I looked over at him like '????please???" then he kinda shrugged back... THAT was not awkward at all. I pretty much had a conversation with mike through facial expressions!!! SWEET

Well this wasn't awkward, but at a show, Billie ran through the crowd and he looked at me for a split second. his face said "wow, what the hell is that girl wearing?" XD

Any eye contact I got with the band was NEVER awkward....well, everything except when Billie asked for my sunglasses. I blushed like MADDDDD and looked down as I threw them. I'm sure he thought I was insane haha

When I was at Lollapalooza Mike made eye contact with me. But it wasn't really awkward. Really cool honestly.

And I think Tre and I did too, but who knows.

I looked away whenever Tre made eye contact with me last year ... I have no idea why. He has a bit of creepy glare when he's playing!

YESSSS.

During the Foxboro show in April I was standing really close to the stage, with only 1 person in front of me. Anyway, at one point Billie was standing at the edge of the stage, kind of bent forward, and he was like right in my face. He was starting at me and singing at me for like 30 seconds, and i was like "uhhhh...this is cool, but ummm...stop?"

Haha, I'd be the opposite - even if it was obvious that he WAS looking at the person next to me I'd say he was looking at me!

Sure why not? I mean, only the person next to you and you would know that!!

I did with Mike and it wasn't awkward ^^

At some point i blew him a kiss to check if he was looking at me and not the person next to me and he started smiling and winked at me

sounds silly but it was better than just waving xD

When I had eye contact with the Rev it wasn't awkward because we were both singing and then he was pouring beer in my mouth. So it wasn't just eye contact, other stuff was going on that prevented any awkwardness. Plus we'd both been drinking haha. And then with Billie at Wembley it was just a split second glance so there wasn't any chance for awkwardness there either.

But if it was eye contact without a "purpose", like you just happened to be looking at each other, I can imagine it feeling awkward. For me anyway . I can imagine if it was me in that situation with Tre I'd feel all shy and look away. I kind of felt like that when Jason White was right in front of us at the O2 and my sister and I simultaneously waved at him and he smiled and nodded at us. We went all silly and giggly :D

it could've been the person beside me, but whatever

At one point during the Alpharetta show, I had gotten about 6 rows from the barrier and I was pretty much right in front of Mike, so at one point he looked at me and I blew him a kiss and mouthed "I love you". He just smiled and nodded. xD

I think Tre winked at me once. I freaked out and just gave him a thumbs up like a dork. *facepalm* I could never be sure he was winking at me, so I always tell people he winked in my general direction.

Mike definitely smiled at me once though

I think I had eye contact with Mike (he smiled at me and nodded and pointed at me, I swear I even saw him saying "Thank YOU," when I mouthed the words "thank you"), and maybe with Billie and Tre too, idk. But from what I remember, it was never awkward. It's nice
