  • But anyway: 21 guns (another gdc user) drew my attention to the fact that at the start of EJN where they have all of the radio channel stuff going on, a really short snippet of a Green Day song is played.

i don't really understand your question you mean witch songs start with a radio voice or something like that???? cause there is 4 or 3 songs starts like that one of them is EJN sorry

I get what you mean, but they've put a lot of effects and stuff on it so it's hard to tell which song it might me. Something inside me says that it sounds like it comes from the chorus of Holiday though. But you never know.

EDIT: I tried to play the whole thing backwards in Audacity, but that didn't result in anything useful

I'm sure she means the samples at the start of the track.

I'm just gonna take a shot out of a hat and say that they are public access samples. Really old recordings that are free from copyright. The "Godless Nation" part sounds like some sort of preacher and its most likely from news archives which are all public access.

I don't think its been announced by the band or production team so unless someone can spot the tracks theres not really anyway of finding out. Unless you ask Butch Vig, Chris Lord-Alge or the Band. xD

Someone told me that one of the snippets is some MTV presenter saying "level radio" in Japanese, I have no idea if that's actually true though. lol

Yeah I've heard people on GDC say it's Nice Guys Finish Last. I don't know how they know that though , I can't hear it.
