bollard_11 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Already a thread. Its an unlicensed "Greatest Hits" cd somebody made and is now selling
Rage & Love. Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah i see. feel free to close down officers (a)
Katarina. Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The person who made that must have never heard of 1,039/SOSH and Kerplunk..
Izzard Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The person who made that must have never heard of 1,039/SOSH and Kerplunk.. superhits didn't have any of those songs either...I think it may have something to do with those one's being on different labels..at least that is my guess.
bollard_11 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 superhits didn't have any of those songs either...I think it may have something to do with those one's being on different labels..at least that is my guess. Superhits did not have them because at the time Lookout still had the rights to 1039 and Kerplunk. Whereas Reprise had the rights for everything from Dookie onwards, so legally Reprise could not release pre-Dookie songs on Superhits
alyrebe04 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 It's just a terrible copy, some of those songs doesn't even belong to ISH and it says Bascet Case!!!!!!! Even a fool can see that.......
Hermione Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Well it looks like a pretty cool CD to me regardless. What a fabulous selection of songs!
pasalaska Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 they have gone to the effort of putting the Reprise logo on there and everything
Izzard Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Superhits did not have them because at the time Lookout still had the rights to 1039 and Kerplunk. EvanAsFuck Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I'm tempted to buy this anyways... As long as it's not ridiculously priced. I mean real or not it does look pretty cool!!!
Laurenn Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I kinda want this, when i first got into GD i went all over looking for a Greatest Hits cd with American Idiot songs cause i was too lazy to just buy the cds. I got Bullet in a Bible and almost cried when i found out it was live
Dai. Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 Already a thread. Its an unlicensed "Greatest Hits" cd somebody made and is now selling Do you remember the thread title? Cause I want to merge them but I can't find the other one. I just found a couple of them that were closed.
Four. Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 hmm... It seems kinda cool... I mean, the band doesn't get a dime on this, but well, the song selection is good they don't even have Platypus though & yeah, Bascet Case is an epic FAIL hahaha anyways, I don't think they'd have it anywhere where I live, so I don't have to worry abour being tempted to buy it.
Are We The Waiting? Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 this would have been slightly cool if the person who made this CD could've spelled BASKET case correctly. and just out of curiosity, but if this is a bootleg why is there a reprise records label and an FBI anti-piracy stamp in the bottom right? just wondering..
Satan Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 i like the pics pleasantly surprised to see "she's a rebel"! and thank god they didn't forget bascet case
gdpony Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Wow, I can't believe someone made this, and warner has done nothing about ir!
jtdscape Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Anyone want to point me into the correct direction where I could buy this CD? Yes I know its a bootleg, but I want it.
Insomniac186 Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 What an odd selection of tracks. The misspelling of Basket Case is the dead giveaway it's a bootleg. Bootlegs are usually made in Asian countries which is probably why. If it wasn't, there would be a lot of confused people here! They even went through the effort of putting all the copyright info and legal mumbo-jumbo on there. Bootleg products are getting so much more advanced these days...
Zero. Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I think the person who made this needs a round of applause for effort
