Playing Dookie CD

Wasn't sure where to put this so sorry if it should be elsewhere, it's GD related but whether it belongs more in general chat I'm not sure x

Basically, I have a number of newly bought Green Day CD's and they play like a muffled concert recording on my laptop, I've read a few people online saying they have problems with their Green Day CD's too but none of them seem to be followed up with solutions to solving the problem.

I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution, or anyone who's never had a problem if you could maybe find out which player you use, codec used etc?

I had that problem a while ago with my old laptop, but I tried it on another one and they sounded fine - it might just be your laptop

Otherwise there might actually be something wrong with them but I doubt that would be the problem with all of them - in which case you could probably try exchange them

It does the same on all of my computers, PC, Laptop and Mac very odd.
