It's been forever since we've heard from Mike!

It's nice to hear from him again.

Did anyone hear what he said at the end?

Live CD and when asked about a DVD he said "most likely"

Posted

I need a live DVD. Thanks for posting.

aw. good to hear from him again :)

LIVE DVD!!! HUZZAH!

Thank you for sharing this! It's good to hear from Mike more often.

I like that he got to talk about writing "Nobody Likes You", he pretty much sparked American Idiot's creative process with that song. It does not get enough credit.

The question about The bands name cracks me up, I love that Mike is giggling when they ask. AndI like this hint of a live DVD. :eyebrow: Sounds like it'll be from more than one show if it happens. Amazing!

yeah you're right it's a stupid question ¬¬ but mike was nice enough to laugh about it

I feel a new album coming soon. Like 2 years.

It's not so much stupid as it is awkward and silly.

I mean, years down the road, all grown up, explaining that his band's name is a reference to marijuana. I'm sure It's a pretty funny situation for him to be in.

Two years is fine by me. They need to take their time and make sure it's just right. They like to put out only the best work, you gotta respect that. Besides two is better than a four or five year wait. -plus they have personal lives and their side projects to attended to-

So great to hear from Mike!

Thanks for sharing!! Most likely a live DVD, I can handle that but I am not getting my hopes up too much. At least even if we have to wait a few years, we will have the live album to hold us over. Way better than nothing!

i've missed Mike

Awesome! Great to get some more info about the live album, possible live DVD and even a new album!!! :shifty:

HE SAID A POSSIBLE LIVE DVD ALBUM IN SOUTH AMERICA??? ♥ YEEES!

Posted

With the possibility of the DVD, I think it'll be longer before we get the live CD. But I'm hoping for early next year!

I love his reason behind putting it out and how shows are going to make it on there.

Like I said before, it's so nice hearing from Mike again.

hrmm you think we'll get the live album in time for the Holidays?

I was wondering the same thing.

Does anyone remember how long it took after Bullet in a Bible was announced before it came out? I know it came out in November of '05 but I have no idea how long we knew about it beforehand.

POSSIBLE LIVE DVD!!! YEEESSSS

It depends how much video they took during the shows. If they taped full shows from most of the shows of the tour, that's a lot of editing. And it also depends if they are filming/recording the South American shows.

So so true. I mean, Billie may have made themes of the album, but Mike got the ball rolling.
