I found this clip of Keri Arrindel (X factor contestant) singing her version of Wake Me Up When September Ends during the judges houses stage of the competition. Just wondered what everyone thought of her performance?

I was in the room when the X Factor was on yesterday but I was trying so hard to block it out I didn't notice this! The singer's good but it's still almost unwatchable with Cheryl Cole sitting there pulling her stupid fake faces.

Seriously, some of the utter crap that's got through when she hasn't! Some of the people who've got through can barely sing in tune. The X Factor has become so ridiculous I can't stand it any more.

she tried to do that in her own way, it wasn't terrible at all, but i don't think i like it.

Yeah, I agree --- I didn't really like that she added those vocalizations in at all ... I dunno, it just didn't fit. Sorta like in the musical version of Too Much Too Soon with that whole 'Yeeeeee-aaaaa-eahhhhhhhhhh!' bit at the end. Both are sung really well, there's no denying that, but it just doesn't work ... At least not in my personal opinion.

It started off alright. Great voice, not doing much for the song though. When she got to the end, I couldn't stand it anymore. That's not how Green Day are supposed to sound.

She has a great voice, but she still managed to rape an amazing song.

I don't see the issue with this not sounding like Green Day are supposed to.. She clearly isn't Green Day or any kind of rock singer. Or a man.

I absolutely adore it, I think its beautiful.
