Dai. Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 There are a couple of similar threads, but I wanted one where I could watch videos of fellow GDC'ers getting on stage with the band. These are often posted in the tour threads, but I honestly don't feel like going through hundreds of threads (with dozens/hundreds of pages each) to look for them, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So this is for the lucky bastards who made it on stage (post videos, but feel free to tell us about the experience as well) and the jealous fucks who haven't, but still get happy from seeing their friends up there.
Isabel Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 This really cheers me up when I've had a shitty day...it really just makes me laugh alot, I don't know, the whole surrounding circumstances and everything about it were just hilarious. Well this is me 'stealing' (yeah right, Billie Joe!) Longview in Belfast on Oct. 20th. I don't think there's much to say about it...I mean, it's literally everything you would expect it to be, and more. There hasn't been one single day since then that I haven't thought about it and smiled. I feel like I need to meet these guys just to say thank you for giving me the best moment of my life.

Um yeah, I was quite eh, determined to get up there. Was the only person in the crowd with a sign. You can hear me screaming "Billie! Billie! BILLIEEEE!" and Trina shouting "Her!! Her!" the whole time

But some are good quality and don't have the beginning and others are crap quality and show the beginning. Oh the horror! This one is the whole song, I am the second girl to get up. The first one has an account on here too though, I think her name is CC. (or its not and I've just made that up, I don't know her very well haha) I like this vid purely because you can see the moment that Mike looks at me in the crowd, then looks at Billie, then points his bass at me, then Billie picks me out. This one also has my first hug with Mike. I am a blur This one will do. FIlmed by lovely lovely Sarah. We have another but its pretty blurry for most of it, it has my face when I get back in the pit hahaha. So maybe its good that I don't post this one. Aaaand yes I do sing the wrong verse. The second they pulled me out of the pit I completely forgot the words. and I screamed that at Billie and I swear he told me the 'tube' verse not 'phone'. p.s. I miss that hair so much.

He's the one with green hair that runs over to Mike at first and then puts a sticker on Blue. And the little boy Billie saved was right next to me for the whole show, he was awesome.

She has the honor of being the first person of the 2009 tour to be pulled up for Longview. She latter went on to receive several other honors. I love that so many people thought she was Adrienne.

Comedy & Tragedy Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Unfortunately there's only one video that shows Billie reading my sign and bringing me up, and the quality is shit. So here's another one (please ignore the lovely thumbnail ) It was amazing, and I still can't believe it happened. I don't care if I murdered the song. Billie could have pushed me off the stage for all I care. It was unreal. And after the first two verses, somebody else came on stage to finish the song. No one special, just someone nobody knows at all. Seems like a nice enough guy Fantastic day.
