Nickofsuburbia Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I know that GDA and the GDC were started around the Warning era but what are some of the things GDA would have reported on during the earlier points in Green Day's career? For example... Green Day signs to major record label and leaves the California punk scene. OR Green Day plays Woodstock '94. Mud flies everywhere. Mike Dirnt has a tooth knocked out in confusion of the mud fight.
Sanity Loan Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I highly doubt there would have been a GDA or GDC. 1) They weren't big enough to have a large fan site and community 2) No market for one since not a WHOLE lot of people were interested back then 3) Website technology was very little back then

I think there would be the same kind of reactions that there are now about things like "American Idiot goes on Broadway" "Green Day Rockband coming" or "Green Day about to release follow up to American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown". Why looking back at those years, why we're having so much great news for the past, Idk, 2/3 years?

Almost the same they talk about nowadays. Or yeah, as people've already said, Blue's new stickers or the most recent hair color
