Song for theme.

Hi there reader. Um, I just got a project for me to do in College and on a basic, what i have to do is:

Choose any song.

Create a theme/ mini sculptured/ 3D image based on the lyrics of the song, and to do with the song.

Take extra photographs etc..

I was wondering if you guys could help me by any chance? Like maybe suggest a song for me to use and describe as best you can to explain what would be in the image/ sculpture/ scenery.

I f you guys can suggest ANYTHING, it would be extremely helpful for me.

I've already had a few ideas e.g:

Deadbeat Holiday- a sculpture of everything going wrong around a guy but with like a picture of success hanging on his wall? or him pulling out ( something symolizing hope ) of his pocket.

Jesus of Suburbia- an obvious scene from the music video, like him in a toilet with just complete shit ( mess haha ) around him blah blah..

Last of the American Girls- a girl in the centre of the room being surrounded by all common fashion and poitics and stuff, and her just ignoring it..

Coming Clean- just a few symbolizations of everyone hating on this guy, with a picture of just a ragular Boy & Girl picture on his wall for him to decide upon..

Anything you have will be so much help, honestly guys.

I really like your ideas already, but if you need more inspiration i'm thinking maybe Macy's Day Parade, three charachters presented like the “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" surrounded by commercials and brand names.

I'll let you know if i come up with anything else.

you could also use boulevard of broken dreams - not necessaraly according to the lyrics or the actual song but just using the title of it could have a whole load of possibilities

what about st jimmy and whatsername frm the vid..altho that could get confusin so boulevard of broken dreams could work out pretty cool..but yeah, i cant really think up that much

I like your ideas. Just make a couple sketches, try to think more about what kind of message you want to show/include in your work, and take one of your own ideas! I'm sure it'll turn out just fine.

Here you got some ideas:

-American idiot: a guy with a mask of George W Bush, but dressed like BJ (black shirt, red tie) playing the song, looking like extremely happy. Everything around him is being demolish, and broken.. u know

-21 guns: a group of soldiers with the symbol of peace in their helmets. The are in a war. They look each other like saying "why the hell are we fighting?" They throw up their weapons in the floor and the go back with their families (this one is good for the song "Holiday" too)

-Minoriy: A guy in a group of people (people are all dressed with the SAME clothes and they make the SAME moves, etc.) The guy runaway from the group of people and he is involved in situations that makes him think "wow I don't want to be like the other sheeps"
