I e-mailed him and asked him a couple questions regarding if this is real or not. He got back to me next day ensuring they are real. He sent me a link of one on eBay. Blue Replica

Punk-tastic32 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 That is a pretty good price- both for the Rock Band one and the real one. Personally, I'm not into getting my own Blue. I think that I should get something that I like and make it special to me (instead of copying one of my heroes)... but everyone has their own opinions- and this a great thing for people who want a copy of Blue! I love how at the bottom it says : "Mud/dirt/spilled beer not included!"

Unfortunately I have a Wii, and I don't play guitar either (yet), but oh well I'd rather make it myself, anyway.

dookiak Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I bought one of the full sized '94 version replicas from him of the REAL guitar and now I'm in the process of making my own for Rock Band... there is a site out there that gives you the stickers already done in the right sizes, and then I had to go to my local paint store and order special a spray paint... the color name was "Flipper"... since they don't use "Sonic Blue" or "Daphne Blue" for normal paints, just for the classic cars/guitars that used them. My paint will arrive tuesday and I'll post a pic of my RB guitar next to my real one He does do an amazing job on the one's he sells though.. I def recommend it for anyone who wants one gah what about Wii? Use this as a guideline... Make your own Green Day: Rock Band version of Blue

Same body/guitar... just update of stickers. I'd love to have both myself... but... ye ol' wife would kill me. I just chose the '94 cause that's what I remember. I discovered GD in '94 and that guitar was iconic to me. So, for nostalgia, I took that one. You can get the 2010 version and then maybe make it your mission to keep up with him and the changes he makes. I''m sure that would always be cool too. Either way, you won't be let down. Strap it on and have it in your hands and you feel like you're ready to start rockin' out with the guys lol
