Are you a Green Day freak among your friends?

Are you the only one of your group of friends whose a green day freak or are your friends green day freaks too? Some of my friends like some green day songs because of me XD but they think im a freak cus, u know...bringing green day shirts to school and my room being full of green day posters hehehe....do your friends think that your a freak or are they freaks with you? just wondering

I'm the freak with my friends - they only know a few songs. They don't really mind. It does annoy them when i talk about how excited i am for a bunch of little things like tour dates and singles, but that's all part of being a GD freak, right?

I get mocked. But it's gotten to the point that I don't care.

Nope. None of my IRL friends like them that much. I don't talk about Green Day related things too much with them because it's annoying when people harp on and on about the same thing.

I usually don't talk about GD with people that don't like them, but sometimes it just comes up ya know? Like if I'm going to the concert or something.

I have one friend who is a big Green Day fan too!!! The rest of my friends probably think I’m a freak because I’m so obsessed. One of my little sisters friends pretends to be a Green Day “Nimrod” what we call it, but then she says she hates them to my sister and that I’m way to obsessed with them. Most my family think I’m a freak too except my 2 sister who love Green Day. I think the radio DJ’s think I’m a freak too as soon as I call they say let me guess you want to hear some Green Day right!!!

I am. I have no friends who love a band the way I do, and they can't understand it either. But it's ok..

I would love to be able to talk about them, and all with my friends. I only have my mom and sister to bug about Green Day, haha, they're sick of it. I try to control myself tho.

None of my friends are Green Day fans so I keep my love of Green Day to myself mostly. They know I'm a green day fan but I really try to tone down any of my Green Day opinions when I'm around friends cause it is just easier. When I'm alone I'd happily listen to nothing but Green Day though

Besides my friend who I made an account for this site (musefan) the rest of them don't listen to Green Day at all.

Well, one of my friends "likes Green Day," so that means she likes 21 Guns and Good Riddance, and has only heard other songs at my house.

I'm the only Green Day fan between my friends they think im completly crazy when it comes to green day even though i try to "tone" down my slight obsession in front of them.

Only one of my friends knows any green day so in other words she can humm along to Good Riddnece (Time of your life) and 21 guns.

I don't really act like I am a green day freak around my friends. Really I just keep it to myself most of the time. My friends know I love green day, but don't know that I am obsessed as I am haha . My friend's knowledge of green day does not go beyond good riddance, wake me up when sept. ends, and maybe 21 guns haha o well

I am the resident GD/Rock music freak in my circle of friends.

They all think my music taste is wacked and they mock me so I just don't talk about them much around my friends. I don't need to repeatedly justify myself and Green Day to people who won't see reason. Same with the family for the most part. I keep it to myself or the internet. Thank God for the GDC!
