What if Green Day sucked

Pretty hypothetical question. We know they don't lip-sync, and if this they did, I'm sure plenty of people would be disappointed, considering we all know that they're more than capable of playing live.

Yeah many people lip sync live because they suck or because the manager or someone forces them like Ashlee Simpson I think or someone , its on youtube. And so is some rap guy , he fell and the song still goes on. Justin Bieber does playback sometimes so he doesnt sound to terrible. And pretty much everything (even possibly green day ) uses autotune on records so the notes are perfectly hit and the verses aren't different.

If they used auto-tune I wouldn't listen to them. So I wouldn't even know about the lip-syncing at all.

Or well, to be more precise, if they heavily used autotune. I don't think they've never ever used it, even though it might have only been a tiny bit. The falsetto in 21 Guns, or something. I know Billie's capable of doing it, but it wouldn't surprise me if they made it perfect with the help of autotune or something of the like.

I don't think they use lip-back, ever. And if they did it, I wouldn't like them, although I'd probably keep liking their songs and everything. The idea of them using auto-tune for the last album doesn't sound too crazy, but I don't know. I think Billie Joe's voice is real. And so Green Day's music.

That's if you completely overuse it. If it's just for a tiny small little correction, it's not as clear. Although I don't think Green Day uses it often at all.

And they don't play instruments as well, they just act as if they do while a pre-recorded (by other people, obviously) tape plays everything including the 'spontaneous' or 'requested' songs! We're completely onto them!

I doubt they'd use it even a little bit given their attitude to such things from comments they've made in the past, and that you're no longer stuck to having to record in a single vocal take without having the ability to choose the best takes.

Yes.. and because the technology is is so fucking fancy they add some lyric mistakes from time to time, that's how fancy they are.
