November's Storms Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Im posting this juat to see the variety. Mine is 8 hours. Mine is technically 27 hours
Katarina. Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 That's so interesting. I thought there was a thread like this somewhere I posted in as well, but anyway, I think I waited around 6 or 7 hours before Green Day started their show.
**She** Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 There is a thread which is the same as yours. Here you go: Longest you've waited in line for the show?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Oooh I feel bad now because I don't think I've lined up for getting my spot more than an hour, an hour and a half max for any show Yet I got second row spots each time I was on the floor, and when I had seats I obviously got my designated seat. (in that 'hour, hour and a half max' I'm excluding the 2.5-3 hours of waiting while already in front of the stage, at Pinkpop)

I waited half an hour and got barricade last time, but that's a lonnnng story. This time I'm waiting only four or five hours, because our show is all seats.
xpoprocks&kittycatsx Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 At Lollapalooza, I waited in line for about 2 hours and when I got to the stage, I was standing up one row away from the barricades, for about 10 hours. I was really crazy but completely worth it!
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Did you shove your way to the second row spots? Sort of. With great thanks to Katarina and her cell phone, in both Rotterdam and Pinkpop I called her so I could get to those spots. But I definitely did some shoving to get there. Especially at Pinkpop. I've never had so many angry shoves and being either sworn at or angry mumbles shot in my direction in such a short time SO worth it though. and in my defense, I would have totally lined up longer for both shows if I could, but I just couldn't.
StevieT Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 Thats why i like shows with golden circles because then people who just get there when the shows start cant get infront of people who have been there all day . And if a mod wonts to shut the thread because is a duplicate there more than welcome to.
siobhan409 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 26ish. Sleeping on the streets of Paris. Worst queue ever. All good. The amazing roadies gave us early entry. Win
The Breakdown Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 12 hours until gates opened then another 2 until they played. So 14 hours.
theeulogy Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 22 hours near Wembley entrance that was terribly cold...but definitely worth the show. And we were first to come in
Rachel Nimrod Armstrong Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I think the longest i have lined up for a Green Day concert was 8 hours at wembley stadium and at birmingham last year 6 hours and manchester.l.c.c.g was 5 and a half hours lol! totally worth it tho
annimaria Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 8 hours. it would've been longer but we got lost on the way to the concert place i was about 4 meters away from Billie, so it was really worth it!
ScreamsInSilence815 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 3 hours for the Albany show last year. And me and my friend were pretty pissed we weren't able to get floor seats because we would have been way in the front.
JadedHaushinka Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 4 hours for the one and only Green Day concert I've been to. I wanted to line up earlier but my friend refused to go that early, so we went a little later.
The Platypus! Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Mines about 5 minutes because I've never stood
Guest Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 16 hours....from 3 in the morning until 6 in the evening with the doors opened. first ones in line

ganis Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 9hrs if you count untill we got let in on the venue and 12hrs untill Green day started playing, we were supposed to be there earlier.. but my friends refused to wake up ... that's also my first and the only GD concert I've been on ^^
