I (without fail) cry when they come on...and when they go off...and when I know its near the end.

And uncontrollably at the Paris show being that it was the last time I would see them until the next album.

I am such a wuss

No No, I do the same exact thing

It's just like an overwhelming feeling that you get when you see them, I dunno its hard to explain, but I always expect tears when I see them...always. I get to see them in about 12 days!

I teared up during a song last year...Can't rememer which, but I think my eyes got blury during the show. haha.

Crying when I'm happy/blown away isn't normally something I can do, like some other people. =p

When I first saw them, I absolutely cried my eyes during 21cb. Then at wembley during the acoustic encore. I feel like such a fangirl every time, but I can't help it

yeah, me too... when they came out.. because I was so fuckin happy that I started crying and 'cause I couldn't believe my eyes that they were ACTUALLY standing in front of me as real persons...

and I cried during Wake Me Up... 'cause billie cried and welll...you know... and JOS because it sooooooo TRUE ...aaand at When It's Time...'cause it's sooo romantic...

oh gosh....alll those recollections are making me cry rigth NOW!

I am far from an emotional person....i KNEW i wouldn't be the only one haha...but when you've waited 5 years or so since the last time you saw them it IS overwhelming.

But when you do it every show you know theres something wrong haha...everytime Song of the Century starts thats when I start...I need a slap

Yes! I sobbed so much at Manchester, I remember hearing the first linews to Coming Clean and I was so happy to be hearing my favorite song live, I couldn't help but let the tears of joy flow. And when they were playing JOS in the encore I was just so overwhelmed with millions of different emotions the waterworks came again and didn't stop till about 20 minutes after the show had ended  Billie saw me crying wailing during WMUWSE ends and he smiled and winked at me and we held eye contact for a few moments, that didn't help with the tears, and they just kept coming :wub:

I still get a little emotional even thinking about that show :wub:

The first time I saw them I shed a few small tears during TOYL because it was over but other than that my cheeks were dry for the whole show, at Marlay Park I couldn't cry at all, I felt like I should be but the tears wouldn't come, on the way home though they arrived because I realised I won't be seeing them for a long time

/soppy tangent

yes, París was my last time seeing them until the next album as well, sounds so far

I don't cry at that kind of thing, I only cry if I'm really angry or upset. But if I did cry at that kind of thing, I would be crying at a Green Day concert . It's such an emotional experience, completely overwhelming really. I think I have a big silly grin on my face from the moment they get on stage until the end of the show.

When they played Good Riddance I got a bit sad but did cry.

Also we have a thread for this type of stuff here

Only times I've cried was because I thought it was the last show I'd be at:

San Antonio last year

London last year (a little bit more than just cause I thought it was my last show, it was just emotional seeing them in a foreign country, at the foot of the barrier, under Mike. Pretty rad. Met awesome people that weekend, too.).

other than that, I make myself NOT cry at the 2nd encore since I know that is its evil purpose... to make me cry, so I resist with all my might!! :ninja: (I'm just kidding about that, lol)

I cried the first time I saw them :)

Mostly because I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to and there I was...in front of my favorite band after waiting 5 years.

Then I just saw them at Lollapalooza as well and I definitely cried again, but this time because I got on stage with them.

I felt justified in crying - I was on stage with Green Day :D

Wow I laughed so much at that. Am I a bad person??

I'm proud of myself, I have managed to rein it in and never cry at a concert (Which was fucking difficult for Give Me Novacaine  )

I did on the drive home do, just when that 'oh shit party's over' feeling hit and I realized that would be it for a few years until I saw them again...and now I'm sad again

I saw them twice, and cried at both during Song of the Century and 21st Century Breakdown... I was just too happy  and I also cried at wembley during the final encore... after the Billie's speech, and then When It's Time.... and that feeling that the concert was almost over gahhh =(

oh, and when I saw them for the first time, at the soundcheck... (happiest moment of my life, for sure) I cried like a baby

I will cry if I don't get on stage with them next time...I'm pretty sure its my turn already...Everyone else I know has been on

I cried at their show at Pinkpop. I normally don't cry, as in tearing up etc, but just feeling extremely emotional and happy inside. But when I heard Billie starting to play Last Night on Earth, I couldn't stop really crying, and the tears didn't stop coming, haha. Such an awesome show

without fail I cry when they come on and during time of your life. Same with me, at wembley I cried during the whole acousctic and back to the train station cos I knew that would be the last time for a while I see them.

No. I really don't get why you would cry. It's supposed to be a happy moment.
