The last line doesn't seem to go with the review. But I'll take it. Glad he finally admitted to liking the band!

He spent the entire review complaining then decides to tack onto the end that they were at the top of the acts playing at Lolla? Another reason to add to my list of why I don't like music critics.

thanks for posting it here.

i really liked it.

It even puts to shame Gaga’s stage dive during the Semi Precious Weapons set.

I'm all for everyone having an opinion, but someone needs to punch that guy in the face

I am loving the reader comments more than the actual review. I too, can't fathom the "cool" journalists who are somehow amazed that Green Day is better than Lady Gaga--that's like saying it's remarkable that the Rolling Stones are better than the Jonas Bros. All I know is, when I listen to the radio or MTV, I'm so bored with the current acts who all sound weak and........alike. Then I listen to a Green Day song and they rock so much harder it's hard to imagine they are of this time (with all the crap out there).

Terrible review.

Someone who likes Green Day should have written a good review. Thanks for sharing anyways, though I didn't enjoy reading it because of complaining and whining.

Awesome, thank you very much for sharing!

Yea, I'm going to have concur, the review almost apologizes for liking Green Day. That kinda sucks. :( But the photos are pretty awesome and I'm glad in the end that the reviewer came to his senses, lol.

One of the Cobras said to me once when we were in a car and my iPod started to play Alanis Morissette and I said, "sorry, every woman my age has her on the iPhone." He said, "never apologize for your music." I think that's a good place to be.

I loved the last comment by Turd: "No matter how ‘uncool’ it makes you, nobody should be afraid to love their favorite bands."

Amen.
