And then I thought of that maybe there would be things that you do not like about the band, or their music or image, anything. I'm really interested as to what you guys think. And don't go all "omgz greenday hatur" on me, because that's really stupid.

Wow, Maddy, good and thought-provoking topic......off the top of my head I can't say there's much *not* to like about 'em, but give me some time to think about it. Edit: Ok got a couple of items for you.... First, when the whole band does an interview together I'd like to see Mike and Tre get a little more mic time, and I'd like to see Tre *earn* that mic time by approaching the interview more seriously than he usually does. I know Billie is the frontman, and that in the interviews Mike plays the straight-man and Tre plays the clown, but Mike is really intelligent and often has a lot of good things to say. The skill and experience that Tre has, that justs busts outta him when he's playing live on stage, sometimes gets overshadowed when he goes goofy on us on camera. The other thing that comes to mind goes more toward what their next studio album might sound like. The thing I dislike the most about Butch Vig's production of 21CB was how Mike's bass licks got mixed so far into the background that you have to listen real hard to hear them. I think that's one of the reasons why 21CB's songs play so well live while they tend to go "meh..." on the album. Next album's gotta bring Mike back into the foreground again. All for now. I'll add more here if anything else comes to me in a dream or somethin'.

I guess one thing I don't like is their inability to type/spell correctly, although that's not really important or relevant so... PS - I should mention that I DO find it amusing that they always fuck things up (i.e.- Its ho as hell!!!!), but sometimes it's just kind of embarrassing

I love EVERYTHING! lol this would happen Maybe you really love everything but I'd rather people would post more thought through posts. Instead of the "zomg i luv everthing about greenday~" because that doesn't really get us anywhere.

They were all so very obnoxious and rude I'd sometimes find it annoying. It was usually just funny, but sometimes, it was just a little too much for me. And they didn't do a proper video for East Jesus Nowhere.

But I would have to say that while I enjoy their live show (it's the best in the business) it's all a little too orchestrated for me now days. Sure, it's fun to see people pulled on stage, and the super-soaker, TP blower are all in good fun. But the first two GD shows I ever went to, when everything was improv, nothing scripted, everything off the top of the head, was the very best thing I can remember about this band. As I said, I still LOVE their live show, I just wish it was a little more............ REAL.

I am not a patient person so that sucks monkey balls, but it was well worth the wait in my opinion. I could do without eyeliner but I don't really gaf, it would get rid of the 'They wear eyeliner they're such emo fags omgzz' comments but untill makeup suddenly starts effecting Billie and Tre's musical abilities, they can do whatever.

I don't really know why but I got kind worried that Billie'd start thinking he's the one who can save the world, like Bono sometimes does. and it's nice if they care about the environment but to be honest I don't think they do anymore for saving it then anyone else. Of course I don't have a proof for that. but y'know.

I love Green Day to death.. but if I think about it.. a litlly, tiny part in me could understand why people don't like them. Wow everyone is going to hate me now... I don't like that Tre had gotten so... ~big. He just looks a bit silly now. BUT I STILL LOVE HIM. I recently watched the Chocolate Rain video again and yeah.. it looked a little bit silly.
