I saw someone making custom made items out of old t-shirts and it gave me an

idea to make custom made hoodies, shirts, halters, etc.out of Green Day t-shirts and

other odds and ends and different types of fabrics. After many trials and

errors I think I finally got the knack of it. I have sold a few online but I wanted to

get some opinions from other Green Day fans besides myself because I am thinking

about opening my own little shop. Here are some samples of items I have made.

Do you think I would do well if I open my own shop? Please tell me what you think

of them

I HAVE MORE OF THEM ON POST # 98 AND 122

Your image embedding skills are abysmal.

Luckily for you, all of your clothing looks awesome.

Those clothes are pretty great! I love the ISH-style tanktop or halter or whatever that's called. I definitely think you'd do well if you opened a shop. :D

The hoodie is very interesting, I love the lacing stuff on the back! I forget what it's actually called. And I really love the American Idiot one. You should definitely make a shop or something.

i diy some of my own clothes and have done the corset thing on the back myself to a hoodie, i didnt make holes though, its just sewed on.

I haven't figured out what to charge yet. I sold a few online for around $20.00- $30.00

I haven't sold anymore because I'm trying to build an inventory. I have a lot of sewing

to do to try and open a shop. Why are you interested in one? which one and what size?

I have a few other styles besides the ones posted if you would like to see them I can

take pictures of them and post a link on here.

Very cool designs. I'd be interested when you have your prices set and your shop set up. Ever thought up opening up an Etsy shop? Link it here if you do.

what is an Esty shop?

what is an Esty shop?

Etsy

It's an online shopping center where you can open your own shop and sell what you have and add as you go. Check it out.

They all look really awesome!! :)

Those are really good! I would deffinitely buy one for the right price! I think the shirts are really cute

Is it legal to sell that stuff

Posted

These are all awesome, but the last one is my favorite. I recently saw someone on ebay who takes band shirts and remakes them into halters, and immediately wished someone would do a GD one. I think opening a shop would be a great idea!

Yes it is legal because i bought the t-shirts and then custom designed them.

Now if I had printed the shirts myself then that would not be legal. Since I

purchased the shirts Green Day still receives their money for the t-shirt.

What I do with it after I buy it is up to me because I own the shirt.

The only one I'd ever wear/buy would be the first one. As David said, the rest look really cheesy. But link me please?

I am actually now considering opening a Punk Rock shop. Of course Green Day will

be the main theme. I will specialize in custom made Punk Band shirts.

What do you all think?
