Has Green Day visited Rhode Island before? That would be extremely convenient for me considering it's where live :). Not that there's any problem driving to Boston or Hartford but still why don't you come visit us Rhode Islanders? We don't bite lol

You do realize this is a Green Day fan website and they will probably never see it.

Any way its not there choice where they go its there management that makes all the decisions for what places but they might make some one suggestions but we do not know why not Rhode Island.

We do not know. Sorry :) I hope for you they'll visit Rhode Island some day.

Green Day played in Club Babyhead in Providence, Rhode Island in March 21, 1994. Theres a realy good audience recording floating around the net.

Green Day played at my English teachers future wife's house in South County RI around the rime Kerplunk! came out. Supposedly the entire house got wrecked: holes in the walls, broken furniture, etc. I guess that's what happens when Green Day shows up at the smallest state in the US to play at a house party filled with High School students.. even if they were still in the process of gaining a following haha. And yeah, like the guy above me said, they played at Club Babyhead in the 90's. Supposedly it was a great show. I talked to a guy that went to it for a few minutes while I was checking out at the F.Y.E in Warwick (he was an employee there).

For a minute I thought this was another secret show...

Yeah, really. I was like, "No way!" I mean, another show I can't attend even though it's only a few hours away? Anyway.

I feel your pain, I live in RI too :(

I think we fellow Rhode Islanders should sign a petition to get Green Day to play here!

I KNOW! and i was like, "are you shittin' me??? WHY RHODE ISLAND???"

Truth: Mansfield MA is like sneezing distance from RI, and i saw GD there last year. It was kind of a shitty venue though. I'd rather see 'em at a totally indoor arena like the XL center or whatever. (ps- i'm old enough to remember when that place was called Great Woods.)

Also: Here in CT we refer to RI as Connecticut Lite, or Connecticut ver2.0. It's really silly for it to be it's own state. But, it does have awesome beaches...

Also#2: There is a huge arena in Providence, i saw the Chili Peppers there YEEEEEArs ago. From the way top nosebleed seats. Literally, 5 rows from the top. It mostly sucked, but the foo fighters opened and they were good. Green Day could freaking rock that shit. And i'd go to that, hartford, AND boston. Word.
