Hey guys,

So I'm planning on going to a concert in the upcoming NA tour and Im taking a friend who really doesn't know too many Green Day songs.

I'm trying to come up with a CD of 20-25 songs for her that she could listen to so that she will know some of the songs at the concert.

Any ideas? I know the setlists are practically unpredictable but I just thought Id ask suggestions for a few song ideas?

Help would be greatly appreciated

Well it depends of her musical taste. You say that she does not kwon too many songs, but I suppose she already know the hit's like Basket Case or Good Riddance, right? And then you can choose 25 less known songs... Maybe you can put 3 songs of each Green Day album:

My sugestion: Going to Pasalacqua, Don't Leave Me, Paper Lanterns. Christie Road, 2000 Light Years Away, One of My Lies. Welcome to paradise, She, Longview. Armatage Shanks, No Pride, Brain Stew/Jaded. Nice Guys Finish Last, Scattered, Prosthetic Head, Castaway, Waiting, Fashion Victim. Jesus of Suburbia, Saint Jimmy, Letterbomb. Peacemaker, Murder City, East Jesus Nowhere.

Hope that helps ;)

For this tour, it's almost a fact they're going to play:

21st Century Breakdown

Know Your Enemy

East Jesus Nowhere

Holiday

Are We The Waiting

St. Jimmy

Hitchin' A Ride

Welcome To Paradise

Basket Case

When I Come Around

She

21 Guns

Minority

American Idiot

JOS

Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

And maybe some "rare" songs like 2,000 Light Years Away, Knowledge, Christie Road or When It's Time :sherlock:

I hope I gave you an idea ;)

I think you should pick some of your favorites off of every album and then if she likes them give her more songs off of the album, because you never know what rarities they are going to play.

well, you've the answers to your question! :)

You should also show her bullet in a bible so she can get a feel for what she can expect :)

you could maybe just check up on the setlists of past recent gigs to see exactly what songs are being played all the time, and any extra ones that you feel may come up.

that and any songs that you feel you want them to know, or think that they will like :nice:

Burnout, Geek Stink Breath, Stuck With Me, 2000 Light Years Away, Nice Guys Finish Last, Waiting, Minority, and the AI, Dookie and 21CB singles should cover it :)

The best way to introduce GD's live shows to a friend is burning one bootleg on a disc.

I think you have a lot of setlists to decide now and I won't make another one but I suggest you to let your friend see Bullet In A Bible..It's the best way to introduce him to the great green day shows!
