I am seeing Green Day Aug. 3. I have pit tickets for the show and im planning on getting there early to get front spot. I wanna know what songs they have did or are doing to bring fans on stage to play guitatr. Are they still doing Jesus Of Suburbia? Or no? I perfected JOS, but if they do other songs I wanna practice the other ones too.

They haven't done Jesus of Suburbia in a good while (think Cologne was the last time? Not sure, but it was somewhere in Germany)

On this summer tour in Europe they were doing Longview at every show up until Prague and then they did Knowledge at that show and in Mainz. But at Rock Wercheter they did Longview. I guess they could decide on the night maybe?

It's either gonna be Longview, JOS or Knowledge. But since it's gonna be a new leg of the tour, they might change it up a bit? Ever since Paris they've kinda cut back on Longview, haven't they? :/

Longview(knowledge is a rarity now), and they used to bring people up to play JOS.

Hopefully they start doing that again on the US leg.

Didn't they do it during Know Your Enemy a few times last year? Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember them doing that a few times.

I saw them at Birmingham in October 2009 and it was Knowledge.

They bring somebody on stage during KYE for a stage dive, not to play the song.

If you're just wanting a list of songs they bring people up for, its:

Know Your Enemy (stage dive)

East Jesus Nowhere (kids only)

Are We The Waiting (typically just a girl, you get serenaded + a kiss at the end)

Longview (sing)

King For A Day (rare, but you get to go up and jump around)

JOS (rare, play)

Knowledge (rare, play)

I've seen fans playing JOS, Longview, Knowledge and covers from other bands like Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones onstage :sherlock:

I think I saw once a video at YouTube of Billie looking for fans to play during Hitchin' A Ride, but I'm not sure :ermm:

They also pull someone up to spray the crowd with the hose before Jaded(I think?) :)

If they play two nights in the same city then they tend to do Longview one of the nights and then Knowledge on the other. But in Prague they were all set to do Longview and Mike had already started playing the bass line when Billie just said "Nah, lets do something different" and then started playing Knowledge  And apparently they were supposed to do Knowledge in Paris but because they came on too late they just did Longview? (not sure if that's true, but someone mentioned it a while ago)

I wonder was getting someone up to play Jesus Of Suburbia taking too much time on top of KYE, EJN, AWTW Jaded and Longview, and that's why they cut it? Because they can be fined so much for going over on the curfews. Or maybe it's just more strict outside the US

East Jesus Nowhere (kids only)

Not always, I've seen videos of grown men up there

Just a girl?! Haha

Yup, this and the Jaded hose sounds about right.

I'd love to see some Knowledge on this leg!

Just take a sign - 'I wanna play [xxxx]' and try your luck. They've been pretty impulsive this tour, taking requests and whatnot. Good luck!
