A friend of mine was saying he heard that Green Day is now playing "Life During Wartime" at their shows. Is this true? I haven't seen any videos to prove this yet. Guess I'll find out when I see them in Mountain View...

My only, only worry is that it's going to take away from the whole mystery of PHGP. It's like part of their whole thing, not having every single person knowing who they are. And if Green Day play that, all these teeny-boppers are going to go gaga when PHGP decides to play another show.

I think the closest thing to Green Day playing it was when Billie did the solo acoustic version that was put on their website as a phone message.

No, I clearly understand your point, that's exactly what happened, with songs from GD that I used to love but then when they became a single and they continued to play it over and over again, and I was just over it.

At the Green Day show I went to last month when Billie introduced Jason White he said he was in "a band called Pinhead Gunpowder" and they exchanged glances. I thought that was pretty cool, haha.

I don't think so, I have never seen any video playing that song in a Green day concert.
