The Grateful Green Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I went to Warped Tour today at camden where Green Day will be playing August 3rd to kick off their tour this summer. When I went to get a drink in the venue, they had posters off all the bands that have played there or will play there. So I happened to see Green Day's. But the weird thing was it was a picture of Obama with idiot written across his forehead. I thought they liked him..? And when did they start making this? Someone help me out.

Some places sell imitations of the actual brand but get the brand name spelled wrong... Or it could be the place's own version of the poster.

They had posters going around the whole inside of the venue. From Aerosmith to Green Day.

They are definitely pro-Obama, so it could be what Alex said, or Green Day could have had nothing to do with the designing of this poster and the creator may have just chucked something together. for example the creator could have thought "the only Green Day song I know is American Idiot, so i'll get a photo of a famous American (Obama) and write "Idiot" on his forehead. Job done!" I'd the say the poster was designed by some random who doesn't know anything about Green Day, or the meaning of American idiot.

It seems as if they're almost all in ampitheatres. I don't understand how they can have more than one stage in such a small area and all that. The rest of the stages are in the parking lots and such. I thought it was fine. Got the gardrail for sum 41. they ripped dude. I was asked to come onstage but the security gaurd wouldnt let me. fuck the security

I'm going for Sum 41, The Casualties, and Alkaline Trio.. But, I think Alkaline Trio and Sum 41 play at the same time.

But then again, maybe that was the artist's and Green Day's intention? After all, even Billie Joe admitted that Obama wasn't turning out to be as great as he thought he would be, and we all know that Green Day love shit with double meanings ...! this is with the new found glory and sugarcult show, which was in 04-05, it was for bush. the OP says they had posters for future and past shows, so its probably this one. if it was obama, al sharpton would be rolling in the media with racism claims. the screen prints always have great images, but this was just one of the many that are hardly seen by people, since they want to go to shows. im sure this can be closed now
