Soundcheck: Behind Broadway's American Idiot

Based on a concept album by punk band Green Day, the Broadway musical “American Idiot” just earned a Tony nomination for Best Musical.

The show’s star, John Gallagher Jr., talks about an unusual adaptation and his return to the world of the rock musical. (He won a Tony in 2007 for his turn in “Spring Awakening.”) Plus, Gallagher performs live in our studio.

I can't seem to get the audio working but I thought I'd post this anyways in case someone else can get it working. The only part of this interview I've heard is John Gallagher Jr. playing 'When It's Time', which can be heard here.
