Vanilla Shake Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 That's pretty damn cool. No way they'd open for her though, Green Day's far more successful. She's really only got a bit more popularity recently because of her involvement with The Runaways movie and Kristen Stewart's portrayal of her, even though the movie isn't as big as I thought it would be. I somehow doubt she'd land the opening act gig for the biggest band in the world if it weren't for the recent flux in popularity with Green Day's core audience: teenagers. Either way it's still nice to see an act from 30 years ago finding some success with an audience that wasn't even around at the time when she launched a solo career.

I always had a feeling that for the stadium shows they will have 2 supports and seeing she is also supporting in dublin as well as paramore confirms for me that there will be other support for the other shows...
