IdiotGirl Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 When Green Day and the cast of American Idiot were wrapping up the show in Berkeley, they went into Green Day's studio to record "21 Guns." That day, Billie Joe Armstrong donated a guitar, which was signed by Green Day and the entire cast, to have it auctioned off to support Berkeley Repertory Theatre, a non-profit theatre that premiered the first production of American Idiot. Costume designer Andrea Lauer and Set designer Christine Jones also jumped in on the action and donated their gorgeous renderings of the show which were framed and mounted, also to auction off. Andrea's renderings are her original inspirational collages which provided the jumping off point to develop the costumes. Christine provided a digital rendering of her towering and amazing television-filled set. Now all these items are up for bid on eBay and you have a chance to win and take them home! These are truly one-of-a-kind and are sure to be a collector's item...especially if Andrea or Christine is nominated for or wins a Tony for her amazing work. Check out the auction here. Hurry - bidding ends Saturday, April 24 at 7pm!

One of his studio guys signed the back of the guitar and took up most of the space...Billie's signature is pretty funny. And pretty punk.
