This should be on the list... definitely a top 5 story album: has anyone even heard that Drive-by Truckers album... or even know who they are? I sure as heck don't.

sallysimpson Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Ok, Tommy #1 absolutely. It was and is groundbreaking. AI should be top 5 at least -- probably top three. It was groundbreaking as well, but for very different (political) reasons. In a rock opera I think you should be able to completely lose yourself in the music and want to stay there. That means Tommy, AI, Quad. In that order.
