Trina Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 From http://www.crimeinstereo.com/ : "And then we get to go to Europe, which I couldn't be more fascinated and excited about. Green Day, Hot Water Music, Crime in Stereo WORLD TOUR*. *Green Day and Hot Water Music on select dates only." So, looks pretty legit coming from their official site. There's also more rumours floating about it on the web: http://www.punktastic.com/news/23226 Hot Water Music have their own dates during June but would be free to play some of them. Crime In Stereo look free to play any. CiS Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/crimeinstereo HWM Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/hotwatermusic
Tre_Gina Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 wow thats intresting, I was expecting some bigger bands...
Trina Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 wow thats intresting, I was expecting some bigger bands... Yeah, I mean it hasn't been confirmed but if it's on Crime In Stereo's official site... I don't particularly like them. They're okay. I would have liked if Hot Water Music coulda played Dublin or something.
04rebhop Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I can't really say i don't like them, because i haven't listened to or even heard of them before, so i don't want to judge, but i was expecting bigger bands for Wembley. I hope there are more bands for Wembley too. I will have to listen to them
Trina Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 Yeah but maybe they're not support. The guy might have just been joking or something.
Robin105 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Ha ha I just looked both bands up on Wikipedia and I find it funny how Crime In Stereo is from Long Island NY where I live and Hot Water Music is from Gainsville Florida which is north of where I lived when I lived in Florida. Both are punk rock bands. I'll give them a listen. Edit: Crime In Stereo suck Hot Water Music isn't to bad
farley drexel hatcher Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I was kind of hoping for some bands i'd heard of ....
Smoothed Out Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I have no idea who these guys are, but I suppose that's the whole point
Trina Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 I had heard of both of them. I like Hot Water Music. I hadn't really heard much of Crime in Stereo though.
idc Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 finally we're getting some news and i actually know the name HWM xD
Soo Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I have never heard of these bands! I'll have to have a listen!
E!!i Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I know Hot Water Music a bit but I don't know Crime in Stereo. I don't find it so bad that they're not so mainstream, I like to listen to unknown bands too.
Sarah.Scumbag Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 From the dates they are rumoured to play on Punktastic.com, Hot Water Music already have shows on these dates... So I doubt they are touring with them...
Trina Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 I think punktastic were more just putting down the UK and Irish dates, rather than saying those were the dates they'd be supporting.
Sarah.Scumbag Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 ^ Hmm, Maybe, I hadn't thought of it that way.
McNavdo Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I don't lknow what the rest of you think but these two suck in my opinion, They both sound the same and are just a really bad version of The Gaslight Anthem
Hermione Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Never heard of them before. Hot Water music sounds alright. Crime In Stereo, hmmmm, maybe bearable. There's only a handful of bands Iike in the world anyway though so I don't really mind who supports. I'd love Prima Donna but otherwise as long as it's not one of the bands I hate I'm not too bothered.
Tre_Gina Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 i have just had a listen to both, they seem pretty similar. They are ok.
boosho Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I have never heard of either of these bands.. but im guessing they will probably be the "second" support not the main ones.. coz for the Mainz show its saying that Support is Rise Against and more.. So it sounds like they are having more than one support band at the europe stadium shows.. OR maybe not.. i actually just read the "rumour" but i really doubt they would have an "unknown" band for their biggest shows.. so i still think they would be a second support band..
Trina Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 Oh! Guys - I asked the guy on formspring about it and he said he had no idea what I was talking about which means neither are probably supporting, (thankfully tbh in the case of CiS) though he could bejust saying that or something. Doubt it though! I asked him another question about it and if he confirms they're not then this should probably be closed.
