Do Pit Tickets Exist for Irvine, CA?

I have done every pre-sale (KROQ, CitiBank, Idiot Club & regular sale) & it seems that pit tickets do not exist.

Everybody I have spoken to also says they have not been able to get ahold of any.

I managed to get Orchestra 1, which is great, but Green Day shows are not the same in seats for me.

Was wondering if ANYONE out there got some pit tickets?

I couldn't get pit, either, Ross. I'm incredibly disgusted by this. I also tried every presale and the regular sale. Boo!

I'm guessing they will make some kind of pit, remove some seats? But then again, I don't know how it would work with everyone already having assigned seats, unless they later release 'pit passes' in the same way they do tickets, obviously without any extra charge, or whatever. It seems odd they would do a show without a pit. Has anyone contacted the venue about this?

i saw one person on facebook say they got one though the idiot club. i think it was for this show.

and then one perosn on the idiot club said they got one through the KROQ presale.

and the one person here who said they got one.

its really really frustrating. i had 2 other people people on 2 different computers trying to get one pit ticket for me right at 10, and still no luck.

There's one person on here who apparently got one pit ticket. I know there's only about 350 of them because the pit is so small but that doesn't really explain where they all went.. especially when most of us have tried to get them through 2 different presales and then the regular one.

Exactly, Zoe! I'm SO furious about this! If 20 or so people I know got pit and I didn't, I'd be disappointed but I wouldn't be angry. As it is, this feels like a total fraud !

I just did some calculations and I think KROQ has about 240 pit tickets. Does anyone know how many people the pit holds?

That makes me so mad. Has anyone called Ticketmaster about this? I'm sure they wont do anything but seriously what happened? I just don't get how none of us got any. I wouldn't be so upset if like 5 or 10 people i knew got them and i didn't. But now one i know has.......

Ticketmaster are idiots. No one knows what the hell they're talking about when you call them. I went through that fuckery last year.

But didn't KROQ nab up most of the tickets for that contest they're having? With that and the pit being so tiny, it makes sense that only a tiny amount of regular people actually got a pit ticket. They only released a few it seems.
